I live in Thunder Bay and havent been to the fort in 20 years so this was a great entertaining video to watch as all your videos of T Bay..thanks for posting
You could easily spend half a day here. I think they had extra stuff going on because it was Canada Day, but there is a lot to see either way. They may have a schedule of events posted where you can check the dates you’ll be in the area. Thank you for watching! We have a few more videos coming from the trip as well!
1/2 day if you are going to just stick your head in each building. Full day if you engage and talk to the people, try on the clothing, lift a 90lb pack, carve some wood, churn some butter, and throw some axes.
@Awol991 definitely! I was not sure how much of that stuff is going on daily and what stuff was going on for Canada Day that’s outside the normal activities. It was a great place to check out though with a lot of interesting history to learn and experience hands on.
Ouimet Canyon Provincial Park, Kakebeka Falls, Terry Fox Lookout, go up Mt McKay, Sleeping Giant Provincial Park... IF yer camping, goto ARROW LAKE PROVINCAIL PARK on the narrows...this is real camping in the middle of the bush yet its safe & its FREE TO STAY upto 21 days per site! IF you cross the border to the USA be sure to get to Isle Royale National Park! you get to take a boat to the island even!!!! when in the USA also check out Grand Portage & Grand Marias & the lighthouses along the way to Duluth - HAVE A BLAST!
