Just for a bit of balance, I've used one of these for over a year, as I cut up corrugated cardboard on a daily basis to use as a packing piece for items I sell on ebay. I have to say that it's been a great time saver, - much quicker and more accurate than scissors. There is also a tungsten carbide shoe that presses against the blade which ensures sharpness. I guess my requirement is pretty specific, but for me, I'd say it's been a great bit of kit.

I'm glad someone has got a use for it and it has saved you time.
There really is a tool for everyone.
      Thanks for watching,
      Jimmy 👍

I have this one AND Lidl cutter which use "micro-scissor-type" blade. And have to say both are similiar in size and weight, and even cutting - but this one is a REALLY WAY quiter tool. And it's count at home. We use it to cut cardboard for starting fire in our fireplace.

Maybe I should have been a little bit more patient with it 🤔

@@JimmyTheMower IMO it depends of needs. If fit particular and SIMPLE one - is ok - if you plan to use it to few differnent tasks - won't be enough.

A top honest review for a piece of rubbish. It even struggled to cut up its own instructions 😂. Entertaining video never the less

May I make a suggestion Jimmy??? make your next purchase a 4lb club hammer and hit that mini cutter with it as hard as you can. What a laugh I have just had, thank you so much :-)

You don't need to hold the safety switch once the device has activated. It cuts better if you don't force it too much. The safety (don't sue us) switch is easily removed, and much easier to use without it. It just pops out after removing the screws.

Will you make a second video of you cutting up the cable? And then dismantle the body of the cutter and cut through itself? That would be a thorough and good use for it. Sort of like a snake eating its own tail, body and lungs, using its final breath to crush into its skull.

3.6v, just won't cut it (Oh the pun). I tend to avoid the low voltage type tools as they don't seem to have enough grunt.

Yeah, it certainly isn't great. I was sure it would be good for something but unfortunately it was good for nothing 😕
