    This was a magnificent performance.
    The soloist has literally breathed new life into
    this perennial favorite. Not to be overlooked, Bravo to superb accompaniment.

    This music is not easy to sing, but this performance is exactly the way I 'hear' it sung at its best! What a remarkable performance. Why is this young man not singing Amonostro at the Met?

    [Verse 1]
    The Lord is my light, my light and my salvation,
    Whom, then, shall I fear? Whom, then, shall I fear?
    The Lord is the strength of my life,
    The Lord is the strength of my life;
    Of whom then shall I be afraid?
    [Verse 2]
    Though an host of men were laid against me,
    Yet shall not my heart be afraid;
    And though there rose up war against me.
    Yet will I put my trust in Him.
    [Verse 3]
    For, in the time of trouble,
    He shall hide me in His tabernacle,
    Yea, in the secret places of His dwelling shall He hide me,
    And set me up upon a rock of stone.
    [Verse 4]
    The Lord is my light, my light and my salvation,
    Whom, then, shall I fear? Whom, then, shall I fear?
    The Lord is the strength of my life,
    The Lord is the strength of my life;
    Of whom, then, shall I be afraid?
    Of whom, then, shall I be afraid?

    I liked the up tempo nature of this presentation. Too often these older songs sound like a funeral durge.

      And even more often the newer music sounds like a rock concert.

    Soloist vs. Pianist... ! it was a competition... Singer rules not the piano.
