Ugh.. i couldnt agree more about the “love & light” thing. I went to a reputable yoga studio once and they had a “good vibes only” mat n the doorway. At the time i was processing some very heavy stuff and i took it as a sign that this was not the place for me.
People get carried away soo easily by these “all is/was/will be good and alined” by these utter positive affirmation phrases and throwing allegedly sacred gestures that I just can’t stand those Namastes. No time for shallow sweat drops. I’m not saying the Light “side” isn’t INFINITE, knowing they go hand in hand. We know what humans are capable of, therefore I’d rather take a dive into the deepest of my troubled waters to if I can actually stand on my own two feet without drowning myself or my dragging some nothing to do with my swimming giant waves lessons one just by reflex or for being a true coward and so on and so forth. I think I was supposed to see this and as harsh and direct as this may sound, please know I am saying it with love to aid your journey: the lesson hasn’t been learnt this is why romantic connections are becoming more of the same and or worse.
