For nujol mull method, how can I scan its background? Do I have to scan the two salt plates and nujol as the background firstly（and then check the mull）？

In KBr pellet method, do I have to make two pellets? One is just with KBr for background and the other is with KBr and sample. Also, how did you set up omnic for KBr method??

No, KBr cannot be seen by an IR so it passes right through without picking up any signal from KBr.
