Yea it’s different from the other Korean shows because it usually starts with 100 girls but it was just a group of girls in this one so it was easier to form close relationships with everyone I knew from the beginning it would be hard at the end😢

Jihyo trained for 10 years before becoming a member and leader of TWICE, and Chaeryeong failed to debut at Sixteen but in the end debuted with ITZY. For Gina & Christina, maybe it's not the time yet but there's always a chance if you guys keep trying and give your best. Fighting 💪🏽🔥🔥

Gina possesses great technical skills but k-pop artists need to have more than that. She isn't able to express the song as how it was intended, and she really isn't comfortable to watch. I worry for her every moment because she looked so stressed up (same goes for Cristina). Watch closely and you may start to agree that she looked and sounded almost angry when delivering her lines, instead of joy or hopefulness.

Gina kept disappointing me, not on her skills, she was GOOD! but a lil too good, she was still young and didn't know how to manifest her emotions into the dances. They did felt like she's running a home run lap than trying to have a fun ball game. If that made sense. Gina isn't special, she's like many with luck but that being said, she's just like any other skilled dancer/singer. Couldn't fill the right shoes, her size was too much.

I agree! She's got vocals, dance skills, visuals, charm etc. It’s unbelievable that a 13 yo girl has all of these at such an excellent level. She probably needs to work on her expressions but some of the debut members may also have some issues
I cried so hard for Cristina and Gina like they both so talented + Back Dawgz's presentation was the most outstanding one of A2k for me like 😭 It was so sad to see how all the girls were in tears when they were congratulating them as final member cuz they couldnt be fully happy because Gina and Cristina were not selected. They were such a good team all together
You can really see the deep friendship they all formed. When the final group was announced, there was no hiding their expressions. My heart breaks a bit for Gina, and as she was talking with JYP, I cried as I was reminded of myself at that age and a similar situation. She's got so much time and the world in front of her- I hope she realizes this and we see her again.
Cristina really seemed like such a sweet and supportive soul with wholesome reactions like every time towards the other girls whenever they did well too throughout the project. And above that, she really is so talented and has such a strong aura even in her rap and dance and I really hope she remembers that and I wish her the best of luck for her future TT

I didn’t expect this... I was sure that Gina would debut, I wasn’t even afraid for her, because I saw her as objectively the most valuable member of the team, both in terms of vocals and dancing. And for me now this decision is as sensational as possible... I don’t understand how it was possible to leave her out of the group, I’m very upset... Why couldn't 7 girls debut in a group?? Gina is a real flower, and now the group will be without her...
She was in training before and is really young (only 13 when this was filmed) so I would believe JYP wants to keep her in training and maybe debut later in another group.
good skills there is no doubt. But she can't move if she is not more expressive, she had to overcome that challenge since she arrived in Korea, but she didn't make it. I imagine that influenced a lot, if you notice, they couldn't get anything positive out of her beyond her stability, she seemed at her limit.
I really feel like Gina and Cristina deserved to debut, you can see that the girls are all sad that they all didn't get to debut together when the confetti is shooting.

It's not just about debut age. Basically all auditions are just up to 18, if she is older and hasn't gotten a trainee position yet, it is hard to get one at later age if she doesn't get scouted. And if she isn't a trainee, she also can't debut.
It's been a MONTH and I still miss my girl Cristina. Glad she's doing good now tho. Hope to see her debut in a really wonderful group one day and meet VCHA again!

JYP had mentioned many times that he is not looking for professional dancer or singer. Those skills can be taught gradually in-house. JYPE is looking for a person with natural and unique star quality with good moral characters that meet JYPE principle.
I'm honestly so sad for Christina, I loved her personality and I wish she could debut! It felt like JYP wanted to debut all 8 of them but was held back by the staff, seeing as how he talked to her and Gina at the end. Very happy for all the members who got chosen and will support Vcha!

Gina kept disappointing me, not on her skills, she was GOOD! but a lil too good, she was still young and didn't know how to manifest her emotions into the dances. They did felt like she's running a home run lap than trying to have a fun ball game. If that made sense. Gina isn't special, she's like many with luck but that being said, she's just like any other skilled dancer/singer. Couldn't fill the right shoes, her size was too much.
Well atleast for this group of amateurs😂 but if Gina would debut, It would like lvls of baby monsters or katseye, not this.

You can really see the deep friendship they all formed. When the final group was announced, there was no hiding their expressions. My heart breaks a bit for Gina, and as she was talking with JYP, I cried as I was reminded of myself at that age and a similar situation. She was in training before and is really young (only 13 when this was filmed) so I would believe JYP wants to keep her in training and maybe debut later in another group.
good skills there is no doubt. But she can't move if she is not more expressive, she had to overcome that challenge since she arrived in Korea, but she didn't make it. I imagine that influenced a lot, if you notice, they couldn't get anything positive out of her beyond her stability, she seemed at her limit.

It's not just about debut age. Basically all auditions are just up to 18, if she is older and hasn't gotten a trainee position yet, it is hard to get one at later age if she doesn't get scouted. And if she isn't a trainee, she also can't debut.
