"Carnival of Chaos" bores me to tears, always has. It does have "Sex Cow" though, which has to be one of GWAR's greatest songs. Brockie's screaming "Sex Cow" at the end always cheers me up. Also "Billy Bad-Ass" has to be the greatest Mike Patton parody song ever written.

You seem to know a lot about pressings of albums and stuff like that , so I'd like to ask , HOW COME SOME ALBUMS LIKE SCUMDOGS OF THE UNIVERSE ARE LIKE 30 TO 90 DOLLARS ON CD? I was lucky enough to get a collection of all there albums on ebay for 120 dollars , But still !
That depends on where you look. Just found one for $24 on discogs (from the USA) but some are cheaper if you don't mind buying internationally. Got mine for $15 a year ago. It seems like lately they're doing a better job at keeping stuff in print though, I just hope that they reinstate "BFD" on This Toilet Earth.

I don't believe Track 9 was ever listed on the back. Nor was there any artwork for it in the liner notes, just a blank space on its page. (I bought mine back in the day retail and had no clue about track 9 until the internet a billion years later.)

Yeah, CoC and WKE were just too goofy (more so the latter) for Gwar and some of the material would've fit better on Dave Brockie Experience projects. In fact on the old Gwar message board, people would be hit with the ban hammer if they even mentioned WKE. Also with WKE, there was lineup instability at the time .... Michael Bishop replaced Casey Orr as Beefcake; Tim Harriss recorded the album as Flattus, but got replaced by Zac Blair when it was released; they did the "It's Sleazy" movie, etc
Ban hammers, ugh. See, the DBE was pretty good because there were no high expectations, it was just a goofy punk project that was fun to listen to. For Gwar? They had to follow Scumdogs, Ragnarok, This Toilet Earth, and “Sex Cow” wasn’t the way to do it.

Back to Iraq was always good to me. Especially while in Iraq The riffs are actually really good and the drums sound fucking awesome..
After seeing them 6 times so far, collecting the albums, visiting Brockie’s grave, owning the book, seeing the documentary in theatre, and wearing the shirts, I’m not a fan?

An album from around this era that I think is gold is Ragnarock. But I’ve talked to a bunch of my friends about it and they hate it.

Carnival of Chaos is more comparable to Ragnarok but it lacked the heavy songs to keep most metal heads happy.
