I’ve come out to my mom and my brother who both live in a different province than me and I currently live with 3 friends as roommates. I went to visit my dad a few weeks ago who hadn’t seen me in person since January and he looked at me and said “it’s almost like you’re trying to look like a boy or something”. My dads a big aggressive man that I know is transphobic. I’m not ready to come out to him yet and didn’t know what else to say so I just said “but am I a pretty boy?” And that spongebob meme makes me think of that situation so much lol

When I first started my transition i struggled with a lot of toxic masculinity issues which I am starting to move past. Early on i bought a shirt with "Sawdust is man glitter" on it. At the time it really helped me affirm my gender when I felt I had to present as a hyper masculine man. Now it's just a funny shirt that I enjoy wearing and I get a lot of comments on it from people thinking it's funny. Also it's super comfy.
Never know when the man card will up their requirements - best to just keep "doing the gay" for however long it's consensual - just to be safe. I still say that, if you can't find what you are looking for, you probably will have to make it yourself. Without a pattern, you aren't going to see a lot of people just experimenting, or maybe you will. When I first started my transition i struggled with a lot of toxic masculinity issues which I am starting to move past. Early on i bought a shirt with "Sawdust is man glitter" on it. At the time it really helped me affirm my gender when I felt I had to present as a hyper masculine man. Now it's just a funny shirt that I enjoy wearing and I get a lot of comments on it from people thinking it's funny. Also it's super comfy.

Pointlessly gendered baby products feel like some weird cornerstone of society in the US, like people can get angry if you even gift them an "opposite color gender baby product" when their baby has yet to understand the object permanence of car keys, nevermind social constructs of color and gender
In the uk, gendered pacifiers (or dummies as we call them) are used to indicate the babies gender whilst you are out in public. If a child is dressed in gender neutral clothes it can a be social faux pas to use the wrong pro nouns.

@@MarcyTheKindaCoolWizard I work in a pharmacy with a baby stuff section in the UK and most brands do blue/green ones with jungle animals and spaceships, and pink/purple ones with butterflies, birds and flowers. Basically people tend to not want to ask about the gender (British awkwardness) so it's A more subtle way of indicating when the baby us dressed in a more neutral (read not aggressively gendered) onesie or outfit.
Girls always were blue and pink but I’m never confident enough to were pink in public thanks to gender norms

I still say that, if you can't find what you are looking for, you probably will have to make it yourself. You have the original, so you are better set to study the construction of the item so that it can be copied and remade. Without a pattern, you aren't going to see a lot of people just experimenting, or maybe you will.
