I won every battle and still ended up losing...sheesh! Antietam my second division was not complete-too expensive. So I created a third division with equipped with 3 Farmers brigades and two cannon brigades and that let me take Burnside .
In weapons factory, I take 3 arty and put them on opposite bank and around the bend of the river and I take my Infantry with one cavalry up the hill I hold the hill and force them into my arty on opposite bank where I route them continuously (arty and infantry) and if I feel lucky I use my cavalry and skirmishers to take their supply wagons and kill off their skirmishers and Cavalry up north in the battle
I've been wondering the same thing. Sometimes units spread out that far block my other brigades from firing, sometimes they don't? Also, does spreading them out in fortifications reduce their effective firepower? The fortified line is longer than their range. The game says the fortification has a 100% bonus in cover. Is that on top of the 160 from the woods for 260, or is it just 100 total? If it's 100, wouldn't it be better to just consolidate multiple brigades on the line and in the woods?
I got a question, why didn't you let us see what or how you made up your units. It is much more interesting when we know what unit has what, lot more fun to follow units. Any idea why you didn't let us see???

Just did this battle. I lost 700, they lost 7000 haha

I know this video is kinda old but I notice you never used fortifications why is that?

Sometimes when you use the fortifications it opens up those troops to flanking fire that they would not take normally.
