I can’t wait to save up for a loom! I would love to get a ridged heddle table loom!!!!

Check to see if there is a weaving guild in your area. I picked up my first loom (20 inch Beka) with stand for $80. It really helped me start out, learn on it, make mistakes (a lot!), and save up at the same time.
I just bought the 24 inch Ashford RHL and I llllllllove it!

Today is the first I have seen one of your videos. I am now subscribed and look forward to your weavings. I have been using my rigid heddle for years but only recently ventured into pick up sticks. I love the results. Thank you and God bless.

Hello, your videos have been very helpful. I am just learning to weave. I have an ashford loom. I am going through those plastic tie sticks like crazy. I think my tension was too tight, but nevertheless there must be a better method. I see that you use some kind of string instead. What are you using? Thank you so much!

Hello Eukene! Thank you - glad to help. I'm a Schacht loom user and they come with Texsolv cord for apron strings. You can buy it on spools or precut if you "Google" texsolv for rigid heddle. Although it can fray over time, I think you will find it wears quite well. I don't see why you couldn't try it for your Ashford. Here's a video from Benjamin at Schacht for how they tie it on: th-cam.com/video/DPGVyv3z8T8/w-d-xo.html. Hope that helps - Tammy

I found warping this up very confusing.

Don't know where you are at in your weaving journey. This one is a bit beyond the first step patterns, so you may want to try this later if you are a newer weaver. If you are not, try downloading the free pattern at www.poffstudio.com/free-patterns and see if the written instructions and charts help. Best wishes.
