There is a fuse of sorts in the circuit. It’s a CSA overheat protection device. It’s inside the transformer bell cover. The heaters wires aren’t twisted pair. They are grounded on one leg instead of a center tap or two 100Ω resister false CT. I just acquired one of these two days ago and I’m still figuring out all I need to do. I may bypass the overheat protection and install a 2A fuse. I’m also going to put a speaker jack. I have cabinets I can play around with.
