The Grand at Moon Palace - Top 5 Restaurants - Cancun, Mexico

- We narrowed 26 places to eat down to our top 5 restaurants at The Grand at Moon Palace. In no particular or we start with the restaurant, Jade, a combined fusion of Japanese, Chinese, and Thai. Number two is Los Tacos for lunch, here you could get tacos and go for a swim! Number three is La Cantina where we are guacamole mixed with grasshoppers and a Mariachi band playing in the background! Number Four Cielito Lindo y Querido with fine dining Contemporary Mexican, the quesadillas are to die for! And number 5 is JC Steakhouse with wall length knifes and delicious steak. There are so many options, but these were our favorites! Let us know what your favorites are if you have been here or let us know when you get back from The Grand!
Everything you have shown us at the Grand at Moon Palace looks amazing! Especially this food. So many good options to choose from. Thanks again for introducing us to this all inclusive resort!

I love it when you get to cook at the tables! You had me at Los Tacos... I wanna swim while people make my food! 1 Taco is never enough, I would need 6-7... Possibly double digits. YES!!! Los tacos was heaven! We loved swimming in between our orders! The grasshopper quac was fantastic and I’m glad I didn’t know it was in there 🤣! The knives were hilarious, they look stable and then they move 😂! You guys would have a great time here! Thanks for watching!

My Gosh.! All these cuisines made my mouth water. I usually don't experiment too much with different restaurants, coz that makes me sure about what I am getting. Having said that I am not that static and try a new one every now and then.

This place is amazing. Eating is one of the best part of vacationing. Cooking 🥩 on a rock sounds good. I just discovered El Pastor Tacos and love it. The editing is so on point and love the narration. A mixture of this type of narration and on the spot vlog would be a good mixture. I have loved this series.

Excellent -thank you for posting . We are going to the Moon Palace for the first time next year . My only fear is/was - i'm very fussy with food-i will not eat curry's-anything even remotely spicey- not a fan of sea food- tacos are not for me either but watching your video, i was very pleased to see/hear about the Steakhouse-i love steak and i also love a full English breakfast (eggs ,bacon, sausages ,beans, grilled tomatoes etc). One thing i didn't see or hear about was Chinese food-i LOVE Chinese food- Sweet and Sour dishes--bbq spare ribs--Chicken and pineapple etc. Thanks again for posting and we look forward very much to our holiday there next September. The tacos were the BEST! And I love mangos, the chili powder has sugar mixed with it and it really was a delightful dessert! If I would have known there were grasshoppers I would not have eaten it, but it really was amazing, Justin waited until after dinner to tell us, LOL! Thanks for watching!

These all look so good! I am always a little apprehensive about going for an AI resort (although we do want to try one) because I worry that we would end up somewhere with bland food, but that doesn't look like it would be an issue there!

We did have to make reservations because not all of the restaurants were open every night, so there were only so many openings! We made all of our reservations the day we got there and it worked out! Have a great trip, the food was incredible!

OMG. I am so hungry just watching this vlog. I would eat at Los tacos everyday. The only reason to go to Mexico is Tacos. I went to so many resorts already but there are limited Tacos option. We always had to go outside the resort to get good tacos.
We have been spoiled at this resort and Hard Rock we had amazing tacos! UNICO’s weren’t as good. I wish we had gone outside the resorts! Thanks for watching!

Question. Is the Grand at Moon Palace seperate from Moon Palace? Are these two different places? SOrry if this is a dumb question!
Moon palace is a set of three hotels, the grand is the highest level of the three hotels. If you stay at one of the other hotels there you can buy a day pass to go to The Grand hotel. Not a dumb question at all!
are these restaurants available to those staying at the nizuc ?
No, but you can buy a day pass to The Grand if you would like to eat here.

Grasshopper guacamole?? No!!! Lol 😂 while all the restaurants looked good I would choose Los Tacos 🌮 You just can’t go wrong with tacos and the location was great! Love that the steakhouse offered vegetarian options.

I must say I’d go with the steak place first and the seafood would be my second choice! Anytime I’m near FRESH seafood, it will be a top choice.

I was not impressed with the Moon Palace Grand, my wife and I actually got sick eating at the buffet. I’ll stick to El Dorado Casitas Royale.
I’ve never heard of El Dorado Royals, we will have to check it out!
