The red truck is looking GREAT! So is the old blue truck. Looks like your going to town rigs are really stacking up. Looking forward to seeing you dig into the burn victim. Can't wait to hear the old big block fire up.
$300-$400 a month? A small channel? It's all relative. It takes me 2 months to get to the $100 minimum. It's all relative and I remember when I was under 1K subscribers and now there are many new channels struggling to make it. I'm grateful for what I have and grateful that you have been so successful in your endeavors too. Onward and upward!
Thanks George!.. all in all, over the last 5 years or so.. youtube has averaged 5k per year..I am very grateful for that because producing videos can get expensive.. I seem to constantly be replacing cameras due to the nature of my subject matter. Oh! but it made 800 bucks the month my truck fell off the lift! haha.. isn't it a shame that people revel in the misfortunes of others! haha
Love the Dodge and the Chevy. I learned to drive a three-on-the-tree in my Dad's '69 D100 and my first truck was a '73 C10 Custom Deluxe. My Chevy was 11 years old when I got it, mostly bondo covered rust. That was ok, though, it was the sacrificial vehicle so my Monte Carlo could sit during the NE Indiana winters. I did love that truck, though!
Nice work Ken! 😁👍 Glad to see parts are showing up. Im a fan of Kroil as well, stuff seems to work wonders. Enjoyed the video and have a nice evening 🔧
Ya , Old Red shined up pretty nice there , Ken . They don't make them like that anymore , & that's about as new as a person can go on that one . Absolutely beautiful . I hit the like , before I even watch . I already know it's going to be good , so why not ? Very nice "Not a Camino" ! Lol . I'm glad for you , that Chevy looks like a million bucks , sounds like a million bucks , & probably smells , like a million bucks . If it weren't you , I'd be kind of jealous . But it is you , & I know you'll take care of it , no matter what happens ! Proved me right already . You take care , brother !
Just a thought: you've stated numerous times that truck is a work truck, not a show truck. But you ought to enter it just once, now that she's all shined up. And while you aren't busy!
Hi Ken, You are correct. Those brass proportioning valves they sell on e-bay and from other vendors also, are no good. I too thought it would be a good time to replace the original valve when I was replacing every other component that makes up the brake system on my 1986 Ford F-250 pick up truck. That cheep valve blew out when I was braking at the end of a freeway off ramp. I just about crapped my paints. I did manage not to hit the vehicles in front of me by making an emergency right turn with the parking brake on . I had a look inside after removing the valve. Cheep junk for sure. Thank the lord the Park / Emergency brake worked to bring the truck to a stop.
I wish I had your energy 👍👍, I’m kinda a tuck and roll out of the back of my pickup box , no more jumping for me. Definitely have the Dodge and Chevy looking great . Happy Father’s Day
Truck looks good. First thing I do after I wash my truck is spill a cup of coffee in it. Got to make it like home. Soft scrub on the air cleaner cover, but be sure it won't eat chrome.
I've seen about 3 GMC Sprints running around the Kansas City area. I remember when I first saw one, I thought it was an El Camino! They are neat trucks.
You should be proud of where You've gotten with Your Square body Ken. Best Wishes to You, Your Family and Friends. It doesn't cost anything to press the like button Ladies and Gentlemen !
You are doing a great job on the squarebody she really looks great. I like that it still has the phoenix emblem. I still have an extra emblem if you would like one just let me know.
Lookie there. Looks like new now. I listened to half your video the other day on my phone while making breakfast. Wanted to comment but I can't do that on my phone. Dang.
The old square body sure cleaned up nice. Have you tried some mild rubbing compound on your air cleaner lid? That might do the trick for you. I don't know what's going on with the TH-cam like button. I hit it, and nothing happened, I hit it again, then it showed the thumbs up. I don't like the way TH-cam moved things around, I'm old, and I liked it the way it was.
Hi Waylon, first thing I do when I get your chanel is hit the like button. Already subscribed. Glad I did it or dun it. Anyway I like it,love it want somore of it. Take care.
The red truck is looking great! You got reason to be proud of that one. 👍 I don’t remember what you got on there for exhaust but it kinda sounds funny in the video. It’s easy to spend other people’s money on the internet 😬 but if that’s the tone in real life I might consider puttin a different muffler on it in the future. Proud for ya man, she really looks good!
its a 3 inch flowmaster and I love the rumble.. I do need to bring the idle down just a tad.. I'm sure it sounds different in person than it does on computer speakers :)
naa.. that would be begging and I would have zero respect for myself If I did that... .. I really do appreciate the thought...and call it what you will but I'll manage on my own. Nuff said haha
I always like your videos before I even watch them but it looks like only 75% of viewers bother, right now you've had 8.4k views but only 2.1k likes after two week of being out there, people are just so lazy to do that tiny thing which means so much to a channel, maybe they don't appreciate ya Ken, but I do, I'm still a few week behind having been on holiday, but I'm catching up when I can old friend.
a few vids back i made a comment about who your lady friend you took it the wrong way i didn,t mean for you to take it personal i said friend not lady anyway thats what i meant ro say
Ken I'm so glad to see you working on the square body again. I'm not gonna lie to you, made me cry to see that old truck fall off the lift. I'm so glad you are too stubborn to give up! Sure is looking good!!
Crimson red Chevy Sweet. I restored my 1973 same beautiful truck only mine had factory bucket seats and console with the 454 motor. Back when GM actually made a useable truck. Keep it safe! ❤❤
your truck sounds really nice..do you still have that truck? yes, it is as close too "Crimson Red" as I could get without spending the money for Matrix or PPG... it has just a "tad" less orange in it but I'm ok with that.. I think I'll rinoline the inside of the bed..
Seems that delutional parts dealer did you a favor by banning you. You got exactly what you wanted, doing precisely what you like to do best. Win, win !!
Four O steel wool I think. Also, I use "SprayWay" glass cleaner, but for most all surfaces. I like the foam action. Truck looks good Ken! Todd the retired trucker.
Waylon, you may not be as funny as you thought, but you're $200 richer, plus shipping and handling! Some people just can't take a joke! (I thought it was funny!)
Very nice work on your red truck. It’s great to see it looking so good. I know it was hard painstaking but look at it now. Perseverance and Bear grease! As my old shop foreman used to say.
That old red truck looks better than it ever was
I am happy to see that Old Square Body back on the road Ken. You guys did an amazing job putting it back together.
Man, the old square body really looks sweet!
140 views only 85 likes come on help ken out you guys show him sum love for his work and the show

Absolutely love the peace symbol hanging from the mirror! Takes me back to my high school days. Red truck looks great!
my daughter in law saw that peace sign and said something about me stylin' in my "TWILIGHT" years!!! I'm still trying to digest that one!! haha
Glad to see Old Red back on the road . I sure like the square bodies. Way to go Ken .🔧🔩😎
I wanted to heave my toenails when that truck fell off the rack. You've brought it back better than new. Onward to the Dogealac!
Thanks for sharing this video with us
Wow, I am so happy to see things coming together and especially happy to see Ole red back rolling.
The red truck is looking GREAT! So is the old blue truck. Looks like your going to town rigs are really stacking up.

Nice to see that beautiful orange Chevy lives on. ☺

Truck looks real nice a lot of hard work y'all put in it ready for a car show now.
thanks.. too bad I don't go to car shows. .haha.. very rarely....
Brilliant restoration-what a beautiful piece of human engineering. 👏🏻👏🏻❤️🔧
Now, you could do like me and put those '39 headlight lenses up real good and safe, that way you won't find them for a very long time
about a year is standard for me haha.. oh and now I have the windshield glass so I'm sure I'll put it somewhere REALLY safe!
I can’t miss an episode. They are very entertaining and believe it or not very informative. Keep up the great work. 🌴😎
oh i HOPE they are somewhat informative!.. not for the old school guys but I can teach these young whippersnappers a thing or two! haha. thanks man..
Seems like the projects are going well! You got that spring in your step! Keep up the cool work. Cheers, Rick
Never a blessing when things get messed up, but it sure does look sharp now! Nice job as always.
Nice work Ken! 😁👍 Glad to see parts are showing up. Im a fan of Kroil as well, stuff seems to work wonders. Enjoyed the video and have a nice evening 🔧

I dig that D200 Waylon! Cool truck.

glad you made it out of that one and you just locked in my decision to use an OEM part
I wish I had your energy 👍👍, I’m kinda a tuck and roll out of the back of my pickup box , no more jumping for me. Definitely have the Dodge and Chevy looking great .
Happy Father’s Day
Sure glad you got the truck finished, it’s beautiful again. I sure enjoy your channel.
Truck looks good. First thing I do after I wash my truck is spill a cup of coffee in it. Got to make it like home. Soft scrub on the air cleaner cover, but be sure it won't eat chrome.
Old Chevy is looking good.
Waylon, try wading up some foil and put coke a that piece and rubbing it with the foil. That won’t scratch it and it might clean it up.
She's come back along ways again.
blue magic polishing compound is my go to for cleaning everything from dull headlight plastic to buffing aluminum wheels
Very nice Waylon!
I've seen about 3 GMC Sprints running around the Kansas City area. I remember when I first saw one, I thought it was an El Camino! They are neat trucks.
yep.. ive only ever seen a couple.. I like them alot. I've always thought GMC had a better looking grill than their counterparts
WOW ! Better find a car show quick Ken......that's " Best original Pickup class " right there bud !!
haha.. i don't even go to car shows

Geter done Waylon
Instead of bicycle tire, a piece of mud flap or conveyor belt would work well. I keep pieces of those around. They come in handy.
yeah and a piece of old bicycle tire works great too!!!
Looks great 👍
You got yourself a show truck now.
aww... its just an ol work truck.. but its a purty nice one aint it! haha
For cleaning things , I want to make a vapor blaster , , some call it water blaster . Does not look that hard to make . .
"she's a bute Clark"
The best thing I've found to clean chrome is tin foil and soap and water .
Are you going to fix the exhaust leak on your red pickup? Sure looks nice now.
if it developes an exhaust leak, I will certainly repair it. :)
No high blood pressure here 😢
Always a 👍
was that a GMC Sprint?

Barkeeper's friend, non scratching formula. Stuff works wonders on stainless as well as hazy/rusty chrome.
I have some of that!
Four O steel wool I think. Also, I use "SprayWay" glass cleaner, but for most all surfaces. I like the foam action. Truck looks good Ken! Todd the retired trucker.

Colonel Brassy is amazing stuff for chrome. No idea what's in it, but it does the job.
Very nice work on your red truck. It’s great to see it looking so good. I know it was hard painstaking but look at it now. Perseverance and Bear grease! As my old shop foreman used to say.
yeah...it took all that AND $8k!!
Waylon, that red Chevy pickup looks better than I bet it did when it was brand new. Sure is nice as it ever was.
I bet the body lines are better! they were not that good from the factory
Nice GMC 🥰
Clean the air filter cover with paint cutting compound a give it a lick of polish........
You're welcome Ken.
That should be "Phoenix 2.0" on the air cleaner now I reckon !
I tried paint thinner but it didn't cut the primer.. but I picked up some steel wool and I have several types of polish
