My grandmother made dolls while I was growing up. Marion Hunkins aka Dolls by Marion. The doll lady. I loved watching her make them. My brother and I used to help scrub all the stuff off of them to make them smooth. This video took me back.

I have a porcelain doll and i can't figure out how to drill a hole into it's head. nothing I do seems to even scratch the surface! I've tried drilling into it and hammering a nail into it, but it just dulled the metal! I don't want to smash it, just make a hole. Any tips? thanks
