Your videos are so educational and fun to watch. One topic that I wasn’t sure that I had seen you do is about the use of herbs not just your basic ones, but the different herbs that you grow and how you use them for cooking medicinal drinking whatever. Sometimes I get very excited about growing them, but then I look at them and try to figure out how to use them. That would be very helpful for me.
I kind of covered this in the videos I did this summer where I talked about what I was growing (herb wise) and its use. I do plan to expand on that in the future! I'll link the one from this summer for you th-cam.com/video/eD9vDLDZHVA/w-d-xo.html
Hello Miss Natasha. I'm returning to comment because my life was too busy earlier in the day. I enjoyed today's video a lot. I make soap, too. It's a simple lard and lye recipe. Your children are a wonderful addition to your videos. Have a glorious day! -Katie
I had thought about trying to make my own soap. But first I'm going to make moisturizer with beef tallow I got from a local farm. (fingers crossed) You are doing the right thing teaching the kids real life skills.
This is a good article. But no, when used properly, lye is not toxic in soap making. It would be to try to consume it though. www.brambleberry.com/soap/lye-safety-guide.html#:~:text=We're%20here%20to%20tell,work%20with%20when%20handled%20properly.
I enjoy your channel and shared knowledge very much! The video music while talking is very distracting for me though. so I couldn’t watch all the way through.

Thank you! I wish we had more access to purified lard, because I would do the same! You have a marvelous day as well Katie!

Thank you!!
Very informative.
Id forget which slow cooker to use. Have ham and beans tasting like soap. 🤣😂
🤣
When you have the time, could you please add a categorie on your amazon page with all the things you use for soap making? Would love to try this!
I will definitely try to do that!
Great video!
Tip: try to wear a mask when mixing the lye, it is safer
You are so right! It's definitely important to stay safe when working with lye.
Did you say Australian customers get free delivery?

Is lye toxic? I’ve made soap without it because I thought it was. Please give me your insights on this.

That's a shame. It's a great video. Do you have your PC audio set to "mix"? That can be a game changer.
