Ahh I think of it as though I'm playing a game I'd like to play but together with some friends, and it just so happens I'm not the one on the controller. I can play it on my own later at home but playing with my "friends" is still a great experience to first find out the story and the discover the game. And you're going through the entire story in order too, so it's not like you'll get spoiled on important points out of nowhere... at least, that's how I think of it :)

Where are the unique legions to each owner based on their psyche and identity instead of catching them like pokemon? Where is the damage done to the user on any other difficulty?

I'm glad Woolie didn't let the FE thing stop him from doing this. the expectations of lps from rpg fans seems to be different, they really don't seem to like casual lps but I don't think woolie should doubt himself too much in other genres like he was talking on the podcast
I know that some people didn't like the time where Woolie had an entire void episode in DMC5, but I would much rather see him actively attempt to improve at these games, especially in genres he loves, than have him rush through. I hope he really takes his time with this one, it's got a lot to it.

In case you've not discovered this yet - you can change control types in the option to put dodge on the right trigger! Helps with the muscle memory a ton.

if you don't want the attack buttons to be the triggers anymore you can go into the pause menu and change the control types thankfully, i'd recommend type C if you want the face buttons to attack
My eye caught a doggo support. Platinum wanted this for a while. there was concept of it in Vanquish, they put one as a character in Metal gear Revengeance but now we finally have it as functional support. Nice
What is with the prisoner motif in every Japanese title nowadays? First Persona 5 has you in a prison for the Velvet Room, then God Eater 3 has you imprisoned during the rank 1 missions, and now this with police having the GE3 wrist stuff as a part of their outfit!
i would highly recommend changing the difficulty to PT Standard otherwise you will be unable to receive ranking scores like S+, or A and such. also i would change the controls to preset c so it's more like other platinum games combat.
I initially changed to control C but ended up changing back after attempting the first shooting challenge. It's not bad at all once you get used to it.
This was recorded yesterday, so I hurried up, edited the footage and made an intro so it can be released ASAP. Hope you guys enjoy it!
