Joel Hunter you obvious haven't done any research before writing, well here's a little hint it's owned by sands which is an American company and the owner is sheldon adelson, doesn't sound very chinese do he. He wanted to build a Paris themed hotel/casino in Macau hence why it's called Parisian and a mimick eiffle tower at the front. The st.regis building is part of the three buildings you saw after passing the Venetian and it is the first building when it happened.
It's not the Chinese who built this. This is owned by Las Vegas Sands, a US publicly listed company.
