Doing some cuts on a hardwood log comparing electric chainsaws. The Greenworks are both more powerful, but the Ego has some nice features including a light and soft start (if you like that). - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
I notice a difference between my Greenworks Gen 1 10" model, and my Gen 2 12" model.
I can lean harder on the 10" one before it stalls. The 12" one cuts out way sooner.
Wow the CS34 is no joke!! I'm waiting on the CS43 to come out. I currently have the Ego 16 CS1613. Thanks for the video!
I've been waiting for that for over a year!! They reintroduced it this year as the H.O.G. saw saying it will be out on 2024🤞
Thanks for the nod for Amp-Hours :) :)
👍I still forgot after that... old habits die hard😂
Thanks for this. Even though I recently inherited a Greenworks setup I will double down on my Ego tools, esp since I have lighter work. I'm going need a shed for charging as it seems I ended up with just about every manufacturer and voltage. Couldn't stay away from the deals every year, where a bundle was cheaper than a tool or battery.
Which greenworks? I just did another video which I will be releasing soon with the Husqvarna poweraxe, ego cs1800 and lighter weight greenworks 82CS24. There is definitely an economy in terms of batteries when you stay with fewer types!

Greenworks 80v lawnmower, so I need a saw but already have a set of both kinds of batteries/chargers. Will check for your video, not in a hurry to buy.@@reusefull
@polylight I don't have very much knowledge on the 60 and 80 volt series, but I'm sure there's info out there.
When my 82CS34 arrives I won't really be able to compare it to my existing Makita XCU03 because the Makita only fits low-profile chains, and AFAICT they don't make any aggressive chain in a low profile form factor.
Is either of the greenworks using standard profile or lp, and if not, can you put standard on them without issue?
I believe this is the chain on the GS181 Oregon 95TXL072G
I believe this is the chain on the 82CS34 Oregon 20LGX078G
@@reusefull oh man! so the 82CS34 really uses standard profile chain! that's a first! Dewalt uses a lp chain on their 20" model as well as ryobi. which is hard to find available and you can't put standard profile chain on them.
@@benjaminleslie3155 I heard that you can swap the bar on the dewalt to run a standard chain.
@@reusefull yes, after you modify the plastics and change out the sprocket. Though I'm not sure if you would need to change out the sprocket if you stick with .325 and not 3/8 but I'm not sure.
Even though the EGO was slower, it seemed like to ran the best. The others stalled and/or seemed to struggle under load.
I agree the stalling is kind of sucky, but if I'm not trying to get the very fastest cut, I don't run into that as much. In terms of ease of use, the Husqvarna 350i is also like the Ego, it's slower and will slow down when you lean on it, but not stall.
Your comparing a 56v to a 80v mate
I compared the Greenworks 60v to 82v and they're pretty close. Ego is releasing a 3.5kw chainsaw very soon... it will be interesting to see how that performs.
