I recently bought a carbon fiber tripod from SmallRig, it seems sturdy but I kind of like the peace of mind knowing that Vanguard has been around for so long and has that customer service down it seems! I wasn't a fan of the arca plate that the smallrig came with (stripped screw) which started to make me second guess the quality of the rest of the parts so I have this one on the way to me now!
@@FilmmakerCentral Awesome testimony. What was the heaviest set up you put on this tripod? My daily is about 3.5lb-- do you think that it's solid enough?

You can also detach one of the legs and use the centre columns for a cool monopod

@slashedbeauty I never weighed it but I had my Sony A7 III that is in a cage plus a 7” monitor

Not sure what happened here, it was all brand new equipment. Tests sounded great, but then the recording had some weird issues.
