Hi spicy! I'm a sixty five year old motorcycle rider ,when I was a youth you could ride a 250cc motorcycle with L plates for ever or take your test. No cbt no theory test just ride for about 20 or thirty mins a few highway code questions and bingo passed your test. Anyway I digress I completely agree with you about scooters so much fun and storage capacity etc I have had a lexmoto riviera125 smashing little bike I live in London been to Oxford,Eastbourne, Cannock,Southend etc no problems at all. My bike is now a zsb 125 and I regret getting rid of the scooter. I will go for the pegasus 300 it will easily do motorway speeds and No gear changing!! Easy for us old coffers! Keep the videos coming, ride safely. 😉

Putting lighter rollers in these auras respond really well. Especially with tighter clutch springs.

  • @wurzel1873

I currently ride a 750 but for what I need from a bike a scooter would be ideal for my needs. I may do 14 miles a day to work and back. I've rode scooters in the past and I find them more fun and convenient. I've been holding out for a 300/350 but funding is an issue at the moment, which may take me to look into a 125 leximoto for the price. And petrol isn't getting any cheaper.
Thanks for showing and sharing your thoughts 👍

For general use and touring the xmax is best bike I.ve had. And that's a lot! 6ft 4 too. Knees are a little high but it's a lot more comfy than enfield interceptor for me. But I.m getting on now! 😀

I have a full keyless system on my bike no buttons on the fob and it's great I just walk up to it press a button on the bars and it unlocks press and hold and its locked. It only has a 1.5 meter range which is good and it has an immobiliser. I will say though it's a 125 so won't be a specific target for theives and.

They likely did it to cut costs or not seen as needed. Lead acid batteries do die in the cold if it is not used and the stock batts are not the best. If you are leaving for weeks at a time, it is worth getting a battery optimizer when you replace the battery (If you have power near the bike that is)

This bike is no bargain at 2 Grand. It is obviously, at 10.3hp, well under powered and has few advantages over a moped. A Honda Forza 125 is a very capable machine, a lot more expensive but at 15hp is up to the job. The Forza will do 70mph+, tackle hills with ease, take two people comfortably, etc. and is a better bike in everyway. Why Lexmoto turn out dross like this is beyond me. The Aura is obviously trying to look like a maxi-scooter but it fails miserably. Scooters are really popular at the moment and there are some great machines out there ... this is not one of them.

My forza has had both mirrors replaced under warranty, dodgy petrol cap and a centre stand that failed just after 2 years that Honda won't admit is a design fault (an ex Honda chap told me the main pins are under-greased during manufacture. @@pompey174 Wouldn't a better comparison be the Honda PCX rather than the Forza? It's the same size and similar in looks. It's also over a grand cheaper so what are you on about when you say the price isn't good?! Dam, I ordered a my PSX last week! Maybe I made a mistake!!😭🥺

@@dommidavros2211 you are right, the PCX is a very similar looking bike. I hope you get on with your new bike .. they get very good reviews and Honda sell loads of them!

It’s also £2,300 now due to the Euro 5 regulations. I’d just get a PCX and get my money back at resell time.

People used to say that about Japanese stuff as well. Without looking at the VIN plate, can you tell which Audis are built in China?
The early chinese stuff might have been a bit garbage, but they came on a long way, pretty quickly

The thing is most 125s are from China or India. Even honda 125s are from China. The yamaha r125 is from India.
