SB19 was chosen to be the National Commission for Culture and the Arts Youth Ambassadors of the Philippines and face of Sentro Rizal not only because of their growing fanbase and influence in the local and international scenes, but also of their willingness to support the NCCA's endeavors, as well as for their genuine care for advocacies to uplift the Filipino spirit, music and arts. They were also the first group that were given of the replica of the famous 1734 Murillo-Velarde map. Each of the members received a replica of that map, and aside from that, five parts or places in that map were dedicated to each one of them. That map were used in their WHAT music video.

We love SB19 not just because of their talents, we also love them a lot because of their personalities. They are so funny and articulate when they speak. I am also a VIP (Bigbang Fandom) for almost 14 years and one of the reason why I got into the zone it's because they are like Bigbang tbh, the attitude, talents, and being a live monsters. im a kpop fan since 2nd generation and my bias group is bigbang, then when ppop started i did not notice first sb19 then it reminds me bigbang performances from them. The aura is quite similar but in a unique way. indeed ppop kings…💙 happy new year!🎆

That's how I see them also. Some always says they are the BTS of Philippines but for me they are more like the BigBang of the Philippines. That's just my opinion though. ✌️

Yes, that's correct. People used to cringe at the idea of boy groups. There were countless Filipino bashers on the internet criticizing them for imitating K-pop. It was a tough battle for SB19, and it remains challenging due to the constant criticism and the prevalence of crab mentality among some Filipinos. However, SB19 has proven to be incredibly resilient. With the unwavering support of A'TIN, SB19 has rightfully earned their title as the kings of P-pop.
SB19’s songs are great. They renewed the interest of most Filipinos in Original Pilipino Music (OPM) at a time when the Philippine music industry was playing it safe releasing the same song genres. They bravely ventured to push barriers; and composed, produced, and choreographed their songs. Diving into SB19’s journey gives you the message to stay true to yourself, and give what you are passionate about a go. If you did not get the result you aimed for, at least you tried, you learned and sometimes along the way, you realized what you are meant for.
Agree, SB19 also reminds me of BIGBANG, as BIGBANG introduced me to KPop, and SB19 led me to PPop; both are my favourite groups. Pablo reminds me of GDragon, as their personalities and influence in their respective genres make them stand out. Both groups and artists share a bold and unique energy that pushes boundaries and leaves a lasting impact on their fans. Forever a VIP & A-tin 💛♥️

I recommend you watch the WHAT Music Video the Making first before watching the Official video. I personally just don't think the english translations gave justice to the true meaning of the song, which you can clearly understand if you watch the making of the video.

Uncle Chuck added a new SB19 Documentary. "SB19 REMAKE" a few days ago. The past 6 documentaries have some wrong info, but he did make a remake correcting the documentaries. Especially what really happened why they did disband, when the disbanded happened, and how their old company truly left them on their own. And the boys did not truly have a real training. They were left alone. Reason why they self managed their group.
People who cannot understand tagalog, were so eager to know the translation of their songs, hence, no. 1 on billboard lyric find because they know that their songs have “heart and soul”….No nonsense lyrics.
