thanks to you, i have fully upgraded this pc and can run every game well that i play. i have upgraded storage, cpu, ram, thermal grease. and now it runs like a beast. if you want the parts i specifically used let me know.
technically, couldn't you add a 80mm or 76mm fan for intake on the black side grill? I've seen other videos of people adding smaller fans to the side there using rubber isolators, and was thinking of doing the same myself. I'm not sure if there's a comfortably located 3 pin connecter for a fan though.
Yup I did that. I bought a fan cable adapter and I'm able to add 2 more fans. I added a 40mm and an 80mm right below it since my gpu is too long. Fits perfectly.
I have it and Its just ok. I can't belive there's no way to make my own fan speed curve or anyway to adjust fan speeds in any way. Hp straight up says you can't with its motherboard. I'm looking to building my first pc because all of this.
@@PortzTech I added 2 additional case fans, one where the drive cage is and one pointing at the gpu. All noctua. Its an okay mod but without being able to adjust speeds it gets too hot still.
i watched your cpu video and i was wondering if you could use the cpu fan that come with the new cpu you bought or no? and if not could you wipe off the thermal paste off of the new fan on a napkin and put it on the old cpu fan
Yea, you can use whatever to clean the old stuff off. You should be able to use that fan. It should just bolt on. You can use the pre applied thermal grease if you want also
you can upgrade the motherboard but you would have to change the case too. and i highly doubt u can do much over clocking if any at all. but im not too sure!
hey man I also have another question ive had my pc for about a month now and my GPU temps have been going to 80-85 ive cleaned the fans but it still stays there what would be the best possible way to cool it down thanks again and I’ve just decided I’m not gonna have leds the green doesn’t really match the set up anyway
Honestly speaking here, I'm not really sure why ANY of these companies making ROUND radiators bottom placements are even legally allowed to do it. The CPU chip was always designed square for a reason, so that thermals could be evenly controlled. Even throwing your basic Square radiator into this system drops the temps easily by 10 degrees, easily. When you throw a round-bottomed radiator onto a square surface & expect it not to damage the chip & over-heat, it's actually Quite Stupid, In Truth.
Also for the cooling fan I know it was just a random piece of equipment but is there a specific size we should be looking for or max size we can upgrade to?
Hello first off id like to thank you for making this amazing video, My question. Well, 2 questions. Could the stock 400w Platinum Power Supply on this rig be enough for a Ryzen 5 3600(currently r3 3500) and a (1650s 4gb) rx6600 8gb? I'm wanting to say yes but wasn't too sure wanted to research before pulling the trigger on it or even a 6600xt just curious if anyone is rocking this setup with this mainboard from Erica. Thanks in advance to any replies. Really want to avoid getting the 500w PSU, its way too overpriced for what it is. Hey bro, was wondering if you could help. So I’ve picked this pc up in the last few months (mine is a tg01-xxx or something and has a ryzen 3 4200g, not the same specs but I’m guessing the upgrade will work the same) and was wondering what I’d need to do to upgrade the case. I know the motherboard and case are specifically made for this pc, would they be the only things I would need to swap or is there other things in the pc that would need swapping if I wanted to change the case?
I just made a video on this. It is swapping the whole case and everything needed to do so. I would recommend watching it. It will answer most of your questions
that thermal paste is too little for ryzen, the pea size method only works for older intel chips, where the IHS was smaller, an x pattern is better for ryzen and newer intel chips.

You could add one just either get a fan hub or something you can connect with the power supply to adapt to power your fan

Get msi afterburner and edit your fan curve. Turn the fan up more at higher temps to keep it cooler. You can always run with the side panel off also
