Pretty much everything I expected from Timex given the cost, it certainly looks great 👍 Shame it doesn't have idiglo though. But still a pretty cool grab n go daily wear.
Man... What is it with Timex and the misalligned seconds hand! It's a shame... Every Timex I have has this issue. Too bad, it's a beauty. Thank you for the great review!
It's not a bad looking watch, but I think there are way better offerings out there for the price point. I do like the side profile and downturned lugs though. Great work Bob.
Lol what a statement There is always a better product on the market but that is not the point when buying such a watch. Not everyone needs a fancy Rolex, Omega or Tudor to be happy 🥱
Someone else mentioned the Duro which is pretty tough to beat in this price range. Problem for me is I'm a big fan of both brands though lol. Thanks Ken :)
I totally agree with you. I tried hard to own and like the Timex Expedition Scout 40. Bought three and returned three. Timex customer service was worse than their quality assurance. Bought a Casio MDV-106, saved a few dollars, and have a great looking, functional watch.
I ordered this just today in the black on the rubber strap to save a few $$ versus the Q GMT. I also got their reverse panda chronicle that was just released. Excited for both! I gotta say the comments here are a lot friendlier. “Watch Chris” has a video on the version I got and the comments really make you second guess your purchase decision. Do they come with both strap options or how could I locate this Timex band on your video?
Hi there. Not sure if it might be possible to order the spare strap directly from Timex. Might with worth sending them an email. Congrats on the new watches. I actually picked up the reverse panda too and really enjoying so far.
I've just bought the version with the white text, silver markings around the hour markers and the silver hour markers itself. I haven't seen alot of sites advertise this version. By the looks of it, you're magnifying date window is crooked aswell. Mine sides is just a few degrees to the left oh well, can't expect much. I even got it at 60 dollars new lol. Question though. How do you adjust the links? Is it a screw or do you push it out. I've never seen such a tiny flathead.
Hey there. Yeah it's not perfect but still a nice watch for the price. The bracelet uses push pins for sizing. They do kind of look like small screws but they push out in the direction of the arrows on the underside of the links.
It's hardly a copy. Practically every major watchmaker has a model approximating this style. And the vast majority of Timex watches are made in the Philippines, not China.
Looks quite smart for a budget watch. Timex lume isn't great so I agree about the Indiglo. Thanks Bob.
Even without great lume or Indiglo it's still a nice option for the price. Thanks Peter!
Thanks Bob. I have a red bezel, black dial watch so I am loving the look of this one. A budget watch with a budget price.👍🏻🎯😎
Nice. Yeah I like that color combination too. Thanks as always Kevin!
Even better in the metal! Great review Bob!
Thanks man. Yeah not bad at all for the cost.
Good looking piece! Congrats on the collab.
Thanks a lot Joe!
I just bought the Timex & Hodinkee Colab Dive watch very happy with it . Thanks for the video 🙏
Nice. That one looks really cool. Thanks and congrats on the new watch!
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces 👊
It’s a good watch for the money. And also very cute. Great video as always, Bob!
Thanks Adrian. Really appreciate it!
Whered u get that leather strap! I been wanting to make a 49er theme watch, that looks perfect!
I think that was from a company called Delugs. I believe it was one of their horween straps. They're a little on the pricey side but nice straps.
Nice. Thumbnail for this video was particularly good!
Thanks man. Appreciate it.
Interesting piece to wear for travel or abuse whenever I don't feel like wearing my more expensive piece.
It's definitely perfect for that. Thanks for watching.
Cool little Timex!! Thanks for sharing this B😎👊
Thanks A. Cheers!
Pretty much everything I expected from Timex given the cost, it certainly looks great 👍
Shame it doesn't have idiglo though.
But still a pretty cool grab n go daily wear.
Would have liked to see Indiglo too but still a nice watch. Thanks!
I have two and think that are high quality for the price.
Timex going in a great direction .....
They had a lot of great releases lately for sure. Thanks!
very nice, what high-end watch was paid homage to, rolex, tudor, etc...??
Bit of both I think. The red bezel especially reminds me of the BB.
Man... What is it with Timex and the misalligned seconds hand! It's a shame... Every Timex I have has this issue. Too bad, it's a beauty. Thank you for the great review!
Seems like it's that way with a lot of companies lately. Working on a video of a Citizen this week and it's spot on though. Thanks Stephane.

Appreciate it Wes. Have a great week!
Can u give me 3 options ??
Lol what a statement

Would love to know more about the quartz movement in these but haven’t found anyone yet that goes into the quality of the movement
Looks way better on the strap, for the price it’s a good weekend beater:)
I thought so too. Tried it on a few straps and it worked great on them all. Thanks!
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces 👍🏻
Is it me or the seconds don't hit the markers quite right?
Not bad if you are a Timex fan. However I find it lacking compared to what you can get from Casio at this price.

@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces Thanks a bunch. I’ll check out their website and maybe email them, great idea

Which watch is better, this watch or something similar Invicta Pro Diver?
I've never gotten hands on with the Invicta so can't say for sure.
@@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces it’s make a sense.
SMALLER VERSION IS REQUIRED
Had to be a screwback...press down is a no go for me
Takes a lickin and keeps on tickin
I think it is unfortunately not that competitive with the Casio Duro. It is a little bit more classical in styling which some might prefer.
That's a good call. I'd have to give it to the Duro if I we're comparing the 2. Thanks Jeremy.
Nice review as always!
It literally has a Mercedes hour hand…
It's a classic design used by countless watchmakers on countless watches, but first used by Rolex in the 1950s.
Lots of things i don t like red bezel,no lume,cyclop...sorry but even free i never put this thing on my wrist
Can't like em all. Thanks for watching though :)
It does have lume and it's available in different colours. The cyclops you can't do much about, unless you swap out the crystal.
Terrible cheap copy of the Tudor Black Bay / Rolex probably made in China. Sad that Timex seems to have lost all creativity and innovation
