Well I know where I'm putting my Iron Man figure when I get this lol. The donut has a proportionately huge hole but I'm not complaining as it's perfect for posing Tony.
Wow..been ages since I looked at city again. When I first got into LEGO, city was the first thing I was into, and I always wanted a city of my own. Gradually I got bored with just static models until a crawler crane set from Technic introduced me to the world of Technic, it’s more challenging and interesting to me.
Hey Jangbricks! You inspired me to build my own LEGO city and so far I think it’s going quite well. I just thought I’d let you know that you inspired me and, I think, a lot of people to build there own LEGO city’s. Thanks for being awesome!
There's nothing I fully dislike of this set, I like the truck, I love that taxi it has that Lego coty look I fell in love with back In 2008, the buildings are nice and simple and the minifigs and accesories(?) are a must.
This was GREAT for my city! I put the donut shop by my gas station, my toy store at a random place, the crane goes well with my building scene, and the news van is reporting on the high speed chase, with SWAT team there, and custom BrickLink weapons.
I think the weakest part of the set is crane truck. I know it's for play value but there are so many pieces used for it that could be used on the stores or TV news van. It's an enormous number of pieces for a donut transport. Overall, though, I really like the set.
2 things: love the Tony Stark references, especially after seeing that big donut. First thing I thought of. Two, the cameraman is wearing a Newbury High Letterman jacket, a reference to the new upcoming "Hidden sides" theme. Kinda neat to see a reference of a different theme.
Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to exit the Doughnut! I couldn't resist saying that. Edit: definitely typed this before getting to the point where you put the clip. Awesome.
Honestly wish Lego would do this kind of thing in the City theme more; a set with stuff that can go into a reasonably realistic city instead of niche subthemes and gimmicky police themes. $90 seems like a lot, but as Jang pointed out it's reasonable based on what the individual components would go for separately. I'm definitely considering getting this eventually when cashflow allows. It's a great "booster pack" for my Lego city I feel.
Great review Jang! I like that new character! I hope it means something awesome! Like a new show or possibly even movie? Maybe even a game! Thanks so much for making these detailed reviews! That Avengers secede was so funny 😂 (I’m typing this while watching) I realize that you’re having trouble with getting the views you need (and honestly deserve) I can’t even tell you how many times you’re building for custom things has inspired me, or how may time I have used you’re reviews to decide on the set that I wanted most! You’re the first person I go to for a review every time! I hope you get back where you need to be! I will do all I can by being a loyal viewer (I’m a kid well teen so I don’t have much money or anything) keep up the amazing work! And I know it will pay off!
This is a great set, I'm very pleased with the end result and how good the donut shop's interior is! I also really enjoyed the running Tony Stark joke, your videos are great, informative, and funny Jang!
I wish they had used the parts from the mobile crane and put them towards another instead. That would make the set look bigger than what it already is. It would also be better inspiration to create a couple more custom buildings so you could have a strip mall
Haha, reminds me of the Iron Man 2 scene where Tony chills in the big donut. Nick Fury: "Sir! I gotta have to ask you to exit the donut!" Tony: *Adjusts glasses*
To be fair, toys back in the day use to be dangerous and that was what made them fun. When I was growing up, I used to smack myself in the face trying to figure out the yo-yo. Thanks Ness!
Pretty nice set, not perfect, but close to it, and I agree, you don't want to get crushed by a giant donut! Reminds me of the donut shop in the Simpsons! Now with sprinkles! LOL Cool review, Jang!
The reason for the inclusion of the named 'Duke Detained' minifig corresponds to the new Lego City Adventures TV Show coming 🏢🚔📺 Anywho, this is a truly extravagant City set! It's cool to have it focused on a grand opening of a uniformed donut shop, with the side focus of it being televised and having a robbery take place at the same time to enforce the city shenanigans. The toy shop is an excellenctly fun store build that pairs nicely with the donut shop, the builds for the vehicles are very solid, though a little less emphasis with the crane could amalgamate to perhaps another town structure, and there's a good selection of minifigures (no Iron Man though =( ) for each thing set up. This set is a definite step up from the Town Square last year, but it can be paired with this to make a collectively solid town scene 😉😀 A superb review of the new town/Donut Shop Opening JANG! =)
it might just be the fact that i haven't really been paying attention to city or licensed stuff from lego over the last few years, but i think lego have been using the transparent 1x1 plates a lot more , recently😝 YAY!
Hello Jang! Im A 13 yro boy, That watched You For A long time! U have inspired me With A lot of things. And Always Made me happy in the rough times! So I want To say thank you, thank u For making and keeping this Channel!
They should've included a bike and/or car for the woman and child. Just that would justify the price for me. Or maybe take the parts that would've gone there and put toward the shop. Freaking love that propeller piece
J: "But first" (Tony Stark randomly sitting on top donut) F: "Sir I'm going to have to ask you to exit the donut." J: "Tony Stark Minifigure not included." 😂That was pure!😂
I have a theory about this. I think the donut shop and cart, crane truck, news van and police motorcycle were the original idea, but it only hit the $70 price point, so they reached into the archives and pulled out some older toy store and taxi designs to fill it out to $90.

Sure
The new cop is totally Poncharello from CHIPS! :)
😭 that Tony Stark joke hurt me but it was still funny 😂
0:42 the paradox of demanding the manager while also being the manager
wrong timecode?
Hit or miss Karen took the kids *huh*

It's karen...
9:30
Man had to do it with the Tony Stark
Well I know where I'm putting my Iron Man figure when I get this lol. The donut has a proportionately huge hole but I'm not complaining as it's perfect for posing Tony.
0:42 *_Quick, it's a Karen, everyone, HIDE YOUR MANAGERS!_*
But she is the manager in the set
Matti Logi “WHY IS THERE A SPRINKLE IN MY DONUT!? I *CoUlD* BE ALLERGIC!
Love the tony stark iron man reference classic
My want-o-metre:
When I see this set in the store 6/10
After Jang reviews it 11/10
Same I was like pretty cool set but I will probably not get it, after review I want it!
Very true
Love the tony stark iron man reference classic and think I’m going to pick up this set up for my city
Lego idea: no violence.
Donut/coffee shop: crushes people with huge donuts.
I'm thinking the donut is "real" and the thief just get mushed with sprinkles and icing
ceciliaFX but it’s lego and lego is plastic so...
😵😵😵😵😵😵😵
2:13 100% I would buy this set for tony stark
Same
Too bad he's not included. 😢
Wow..been ages since I looked at city again. When I first got into LEGO, city was the first thing I was into, and I always wanted a city of my own. "Tony Stark minifigure not included" - Jang 2019
At 17:57 i love the GET BETTER reference to the toy store. Also love the "tony stark minifigure not included" lol
I absolutely loved that Iron Man 2 reference, Jang.
Hey Jangbricks! You inspired me to build my own LEGO city and so far I think it’s going quite well. I just thought I’d let you know that you inspired me and, I think, a lot of people to build there own LEGO city’s. Thanks for being awesome!

i love your vids because it helps me decide what set to get :)
They always mess me up
Tony Stark mini figure not included.
4:20 Stop it Jang, it's to funny 😂 "Tony Stark Minifig not included"
This was GREAT for my city! I put the donut shop by my gas station, my toy store at a random place, the crane goes well with my building scene, and the news van is reporting on the high speed chase, with SWAT team there, and custom BrickLink weapons.
The mom figure is litterally the "can I speak to your manager ?" lady
Shes probably in this set because of all the false advertising
Never forget Chase McCain: 2013-2019
According to the lego society you keep your job for 1 year and then you get laid off for life
Welp Actually his last set was in 2017
I think the weakest part of the set is crane truck. I know it's for play value but there are so many pieces used for it that could be used on the stores or TV news van. It's an enormous number of pieces for a donut transport.
Overall, though, I really like the set.
Love the iron Man joke haha.
With the “Hey Jang, actually” and this “Tony Stark minifigure not included” Jang’s videos are becoming increasingly funny, in a good way 😂😂🤣
It was just national donut day a few days ago...coincidence?
I THINK NOT!
I love the creative liberty you’re doing with your Reviews now! It makes so even more enjoyable to watch!
At 5:57 the 'vehicle' reminds me of the scooter from Nacho Libre
Nice review as well as the awesome Iron Man reference Jang!
2 things: love the Tony Stark references, especially after seeing that big donut. First thing I thought of. Two, the cameraman is wearing a Newbury High Letterman jacket, a reference to the new upcoming "Hidden sides" theme. Kinda neat to see a reference of a different theme.
2:18 Thank You Gor That! I miss him so much!
Love how you are injecting bolder fresher humour into your vids. Great work!
First thing I thought when I saw the donut was "steven universe", but that tony stark joke was gold

Whats MCU movie did that come from?
@@drakeleveille2825 Iron Man 2
COMEDY GOLD @2:13!! Love the little clips Jang has been putting in his vids lately! That Iron Man scene alone makes this a must buy for me!
I was looking for a review for so long! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Is there a tony stark minifigue included with this set? I don’t think you made it clear enough
Lynxbricks pretty sure there’s a tony stark minifigure included
No
Sharpiesniffer 82 r/woooosh sorta cus u said no but not aggressively and you didn’t join the joke so yeah
Every week for the last month, I've been waiting for this kit to arrive on our shores. I want it even more now that I've seen your review!
“Tony Stark mini figure not included” was so funny 😂 I was rolling on the floor!
That little toy train technique was used in the Lego city advent calendar
2:14 Beautiful.👌🏾

4:40 Such joy has never before been recorded
What a great set, the concept is similar to the capital city set, but this set is executed much better!
Great review Jang! I like that new character! I hope it means something awesome! Like a new show or possibly even movie? Maybe even a game! Thanks so much for making these detailed reviews! Real Iron Man fans would recognize the news van as well (Gary anyone?)
I was thinking the same thing for the donut shop, how you added Tony Stark
lovvvvve the new van/crew. That alone makes this set a must for me.
That reporter torso is the one from the alien conquest series! Good memories
Very nice! Thanks for having actually subtitles JANG, that was really convenient for me:) Your hard work does not go unnoticed!

I love this set because of the builds and the exclusive minifigures
Dang just opening and the ATM is already being robbed, that’s LEGO city for you.
X-90 welcome to Lego city. Where there’s money a criminal is not far.
12:46 Loved your coffee refill logic
Doughnut is so cool. Thank you for sharing this video. 👍👍

Great Video Jang!
👍
This is "Final Destination". Crane, dodgy giant donut, bunch of red shirts near the shop XD Love this set.
I'm enjoying the humour you've been adding lately
I might get this
Haha, reminds me of the Iron Man 2 scene where Tony chills in the big donut.
Nick Fury: "Sir! I gotta have to ask you to exit the donut!"

This set is amazing! Wish I could afford it
This set reminds me of Ironman 2 and 3
The donut from 2
The TV broadcast from 3
Gary needs Tony scene
I love how excited you were when the doughnut rolled off of the building 😂
I like the new meme -y additions to Jang's videos
(Jang’s happiness not included)
Pretty nice set, not perfect, but close to it, and I agree, you don't want to get crushed by a giant donut! Reminds me of the donut shop in the Simpsons! Now with sprinkles! LOL Cool review, Jang!
Awesome set! Also love your reviews. Very helpful and well-made.
I got this set on the second day it was released in my country from the Lego store
I love duke detain
I need those donut prints 🍩
The reason for the inclusion of the named 'Duke Detained' minifig corresponds to the new Lego City Adventures TV Show coming 🏢🚔📺

Good Ironman reference in there though.
All the same, good video. I'm actually making plans to snag this set.

LEGO really captured the “id like to speak to the manager” look. The skateboard kid looks annoying as well.
Perfect for a retail oriented set!
4:39 OH IT DID IT DID!!!!!
that stereotypical giant donut rolling off lol
the donut rolling reminds me of Kingsman golden circle, anyone else get that?
I love the new comedy scenes in your videos. I thought they were perfect before, but I guess I was wrong! :)
Jangbrick’s humor never fails
Tony Stark: "You know what keeps going through my head?, Where's my..." JANG: "Tony Stark Minifigure Not Included" 😂
lets all keep in mind that Jang did not review sets back in 2012. That means he bricklinked that figure second hand just to do that joke.
Or he bought the sets and just didn’t review them
That lego minifigure cool cop and giant donut are like the ones in "lego city adventures", the new show that's coming soon on Nick.
J: "But first" (Tony Stark randomly sitting on top donut)
F: "Sir I'm going to have to ask you to exit the donut."
J: "Tony Stark Minifigure not included."
😂That was pure!😂
Hey nice set Jang
Tony Stark mini-figure not included.
1:24 he is going to be in the new lego show on Nickelodeon and so will this whole set
Jang bricks did you watched that city beautiful LEGO video
That donut is awesome!
Jang’s review is so enjoyable
The new named copy is for the new Lego show coming out
OMG! It's awesome
Jang complaining about false advertising in the city is hilarious
The news van was my favourite part for some reason (probably because it reminds me of Superman)
I have a theory about this. I think the donut shop and cart, crane truck, news van and police motorcycle were the original idea, but it only hit the $70 price point, so they reached into the archives and pulled out some older toy store and taxi designs to fill it out to $90.
