I feel like my ball python was either a twin or a dwarf because she is smaller than she's supposed to be. I feed her the right size of food but she just isnt as big as she is supposed to be for her age
how often do you look on eggs while they are incubating? Could you have done anything when the egg started to get moldy or was the snake embryo already dead? Now the egg that was next to the moldy egg is partly moldy too... In some video it is said that a moldy egg can make all the other eggs in a clutch moldy too. Do you think that is true or untrue?
Thats partly true...typically some breeders will separate the moldy egg from the others to be on the safe side however theres stuff you can put on the moldy egg to attempt to stop the moldiness from growing.
About your post on Facebook about picking and dividing the clutches I would say yes the one who toke care of them would get first pick and then go one for one after that
Since theyre captive bred the breeders help them out since some babies dont have their tooth to pip...in the wild they would drown in the yoke and die...some breeders let that happen still in captivity so its not passed down to other clutches and create weaker babies.
Also do you breed just normals ? We’re looking for a breeder in Canada cuz a lot of breeders are in the states I find (or I’m really bad at the Internet thing)

Why would it bug you? One thing here on my channel is that in hardly edit and I make mistakes, and I show them and talk about them. I give it as it is, not the perfect video for you to watch that is error free because that is just not reality. Sorry you get bothered so easily!

I have cut 10 days early before. Basically its really annoying. The eggs get gunk on top, you might get mold or fungus inside the egg, you might cause stress to the animal. Do not do it. Wait till day 55-57. Some people have cut extremely early and had all babies survive but its not worth the headache

With the mouldy egg, I would've waited until the end or cut it first or cleaned and sanitized everything first before I continued cutting the eggs

They start of small but will get to a normal size and catch up. I still have a pair of female twins from 2016 and the are breeding size now

Yup! Some snakes babies are missing an eggtooth (A tooth that they use to cut out of the egg) so snake breeders cut the eggs open to help em’ out!

It is possible they dry out too early. You can always add saline or deionized water.
