Prick all the corn kernels with a safety pin before you remove them from the cob. Or Instead of pulling them from base, chop them with knife, so the bottom portion is open and lets the air escape. If you are buying a packet of kernels, slightly crush them with a mortar to tear them. All of the above techniques help us to create a passage for air to escape, so the kernels won't blast. How? i made them myself using cornflour and maida but when i deep fried them, They Came out perfectly fine , crispy and really Good.
