The Amira meta has been present on our server for a few months now. I took my Anti-dante team (Julius/Aidan/Celeste/Nebula/Hedid) and just played around with that. I swapped team pet to biscuit, and that plus heidi's ult is usually enough to kill Amira off (along with heidi if he's on the other side as well), and then it's just cleanup of the remainder. Amira tank still gets me, but I have a leveled qing mao so I might try that in the future. Some tanks like Julius or Rufus require modifications.

I counter Amira with my Amira team :D
Polaris not only has magic-pen, her stun from breaking the ice barrier increases magic damage taken by a percentage. (And reduces physical taken by 80%).
It's maybe unlikely that will line up with Amira's ult doing damage, since it's a pretty small window and they need to be stunned 7 seconds after Amira's ult activates.
I love fast attack, Qing Mao is one of my favourite heros
I’ve never had a strong reason to level her but I’m glad I do now!
amira/aidan/heidi/nebula/martha can be countered by using heidi and kayla to wear down amira+aidan. i also used thea and jorgen to heal and block amiras energy so she cant use her ult, and another amira to finish off heidi. you can also use heidi/issac/kayla and then arachne to finish last remaining nebula/martha off? add thea too
This team works really well: aurora (cain), galahad (no pet), tristan (fenris), keira (vex), sebastian (albus) team pet fenris

Why no pet for Galahad? He could have Oliver since no-one else is using him in this line-up, and he really improves Galahad's survability.
Is there any benefit in not including Oli?
Haven't watched it full but in my experience, Dante can finish off Amira pretty well with right heroes behind his back. Unless there is a Heidi / Ishmaeal, Amira can be easily countered with heavy Dante attacks.

For some amira teams Krista (Merlin), Jhu (Fenris), Jorgen (no pet), Lars (Axell), Martha (Oliver) is worth a try. Team pet Axell or Khorus depending on the opponents team.

I've ran in a team or two that runs her. Most times I don't worry about her. ODH with Aurora wrecks her in tank spot too. Change 5th as needed.

What about Aurora - she can absorb magic damage, right ?
Kind of, but the problem is Amira's magic damage is sudden and major, so the rest of Aurora's team will still get blown up. And if Amira isn't up front, Aurora's reflected magic damage will just hit the tank anyway.
Doubly bad if Lucas is occupying the tank position, then Aurora's pretty ineffective.
The creators of this game didnt think carefully when they created Amira. Then they deciding to boost Monkey which ruined the game. When you see the same (2) heroes on every team - Monkey and Amira...its a broken game
It's a bit of a rock-paper-scissors situation now. You got the previous meta of Dante teams which gets hard countered by the Amira-Monkey combo. Which in turn gets hard countered by the standard Osh team of Isaac, Jhu, Seb, Nebula and that in turn gets rekt by Dante teams
Well Dante and ishmael are still insanely overpowered ( especialy Dante) so it's business as usual. Btw the amira meta was a reaction to the crazy op ishmael-fafnir teams which infested the highest levels.
Any Hero Wars influencer or content creator should let Nexters know how unbalanced Amira has made the game. Its now a broken game. They need a new hero to counter Amira
