Hi Sorry I never replied. There is a tradition to put the tefilin away with the head (Rosh) tefilin first, then the Arm (YAD) tefilin after. So that the next time you open the bag you remove the hand first. Todays bags are usually made so that the tefilin sit side by side, so in the end it really doesnt matter.

I thought on the arm tefillin it should make the shin symbol but his wrap looks nothing like shin actually is 2 instead of 3?

Hello - Thank you for your comment. As I mentioned early in the video any wrapping after the bicep is purely custom. The actual commandment from the Torah is on the first knot, any wrapping after that first knot depends on your Sephardic custom. Almost every Sephardic custom is different (Turkish, Morocaan, Spanish Portuguese, Syrian, etc) I hope this clears things up for you.

the moroccan custom isn't that much different. to the best of my knowledge some moroccans wind an extra strap around their arm. Not really sure. The purpose of my video is to show the sephardic custom in general, as opposed to the ashkenazi custom.

La costumbre marroquí no es muy diferente. Hasta donde yo sé, algunos marroquíes se enrollan una correa adicional alrededor del brazo. No muy seguro. El propósito de mi video es mostrar la costumbre sefardí en general, a diferencia de la costumbre ashkenazi.
