I know not all were as lucky as I have been, and it’s alarming that mass spamming for speaking up is happening to frequently in connection to her.

I think the biggest issue is why these indi authors felt like they couldn't talk about this when it was happening to them. Bad actors like her getting away with it make all booktok reviewers look shady

And her writing a book? For herself? I have to wonder how much true writing she will do and how much it will be AI.... I wouldn't be surprised about that.
BTW, this Calley person reminds of an author (can't recall her name right now) who trashed other authors and author's books with fake account on GoodReads (and IIRC other sites as well). She was blaming it on her illness, blaming it on medication, things like that. Really, the illness made you write really negative reviews of books you've never read and and trash authors and then lift up her own book like it's the gift everyone has been waiting for....

Idk why people so many people own books they never intend on reading, but bought simply because it’s popular. Also allowing people to send hundreds books and never read them is wrong.

@AlysterJohnEstur they just keep going lower, don't they. I lasted 1 week on booktok, and I had to delete tiktok with all the craziness I saw.
For someone to even think of doing this is just fucking disgusting! Like, I get this economy is rough but nothing can excuse what she's done! And the nerve to both double down and act like the victim is actually sickening. Now this just causes more problems in the future for the people who actually want to promote indie authors and their books as authors are going to be less trusting.

You can't reason why a person with narcissistic personality disorder, no empath having, mindsets do what they do. Scamming people is justified in their eyes, and if you call them out, they are the victim. Clearly, this "influencer" can not keep her own lies straight.

I don't know for sure if she's a narcissist.But I do know that that type of behavior is encouraged when order to make money off the backs of people you exploited
