Incredible trade deadline, almost like a seperate event for the GM's playing chess. All makes sense too.. you see the major teams like Bucks or Celtics or Nuggets not really making any moves because they are saying "We good, lets make a run with our squad" and then you got the middle of the pack teams making multiple chess moves like "nah, we're taking our shot at you guys" .. and then you got the teams towards the bottom treading water saying "we're stacking for the future heavy" and loading up on picks and contracts.

I agree. They got shooting around when Middelton is back, add in Crowder and you got Ingles there that is a forgotten sharp shooter. Also got Allen who is a sharpshooter niggler type guy. They have a tough team now with star power in Giannis, Jrue, Middleton, and Lopez having a great defensive season much like his old Nets playing.
Not to mention Lopez was playing better than a guy like Miles Turner who is way younger and these guy block shoots, play on the perimeter to knock down threes. Really tough to beat these guys in the finals if they are healthy.

I had high hopes for Cam Reddish, but it just didn’t work out. He has potential, but how long can you wait on potential. It wore out the Hawks and it wore out the Knicks as well. The Knicks didn’t give up a lot to get Hart, and all it cost them were three players that weren’t seeing much playing time and a first round pick that won’t have much value. Good to see the Knicks upgrade their bench.

Robert Covington is a solid 3 and D player who would start on a lot of playoff teams, including the Lakers. He’s the 11th man on the Clippers. I think Bones and EG are going to be splitting backup PG duties and will get the job done. I think if they match up with Phoenix, their depth will wear the Suns out. @@user-xo9kg1ef1z i like the way you put it and respect your point. Very valid points and I love post play. It just never will die because elite players always make it part of their game. Plus it’s easy to build a team around a post centric big or wing. You can surround them with plenty of 3 and D players. So it essentially plays hand in hand with the aspect of shooting more 3’s. You can play inside out and it allows your post player to attack while also having the option to kick it out to the shooters. Denver, Philly, and Milwaukee are prime examples. Clippers too because Kawhi gets half his offense from the post snf PG gets to a third of his as well, so they have 2 options and plenty of shooting around him. Just my 2 cents

They keep tryna sell him as the best player in the NBA. However it is easier to sell his "game" to the casual fan as opposed to a Giannis cuz he's a more fluid player. I do think Giannis is a better player now but obviously KD still affects winning when healthy. He just doesn't want to be the de-facto leader on a championship team ala Steph or Lebron.
