That's great! I've been to the state of Guanajuato four times I think now, and there is so much to see and do. I've also posted some videos of San Miguel de Allende (which is also in the state of Guanajuato) here on my TH-cam channel in case you need ideas for that city, and I'll be posting more soon on the city of Guanajauto, the capital of the state. Have a great trip!
It really is an interesting place, kind of off the beaten path for most tourists, and it can easily be combined with visits to nearby cities like San Miguel de Allende and Guadalajara!
@@departure_level from what I remembered is there’s a HUGE fair at the Leon stadium in January… but ever since Covid I’m not sure when it’ll be coming up .. possibly January 2022
France, the USSR,Hungary and Canada played Group C matches at Leon in the Mexico 86 World Cup,and the USSR v Belgium second round (last 16) match took place there as well.
Then I came here to know what to visit in this city but still, the same things that everyone goes... Psst, I'll tell you about more places here in León.
@@eberlazting yeah, but still there are few more places to visit than downtown and calzada. There are some places that could become landmarks like el Calvario, Cerro Gordo, Ibarrilla. And transform actual places into something more attractive like Coecillo, León Moderno, At the north of the city they can make a scenic viewpoint, as in Bellavista, me, for my personal taste, the old places or abandoned places could be turistic too, for example the "abandoned" buildings in Adolfo López Mateos, a tower in Leon Moderno, there's a place in San Pedro that looks like an Hacienda. And add to the list of places to visit actual places like El palote, the zoo, some parks like Parque Hidalgo, Chapalita, mall centers (I'm not a big fan, but the city can make them attractive to the tourists). Cañada could also become a landmark, something like a place to go in between the city. There are plenty of opportunities, but no one is interested in. They've found in Madero street a mine of gold.
@@kingastaroth7912 wow you really know the city! I havent visited those hoods in a while but some are infamous for being dangerous like chapalita and coecillo. I agree with you, even events like the balloon festival or the racecar rally are badly organized and now seem boring to attend
It's my birthplace and it's off the charts!
This was my first visit and I really loved it - it's a beautiful city with a lot to see and do. Can't wait to go back!

León Guanajuato, la visitas en una hora no hay nada que ver .
It's also the most dangerous place in Mexico. 95% of death ,comes with Criminal activity. Stay safe and do your research
Not true lol.
Fairly safe place. Especially when compared to other places. maybe you should do your own research bud.
Oh god, I should have dead a couple of years ago...
Just don't walk in sketchy places at night and you'll be fine.
