When doing sideways strafes(camera being at roughly 90 degree angle in relation to the direction you're actually going)you just replace your strafe keys(A+D by default) with forward and back(typically W and S). So let's say you're going left in relation to where you're looking, you then press W if you want to strafe towards camera view, or S to strafe the other way. Looks cool but has very few practical applications
You are clearly skilled, but MANN I do not have respect for the act of abusing tf2's janky melee mechanics. It's like those people in Chivalry/Mordhau who spin around like ballerinas instead of actually swordfighting the way God intended. Like literally what am I meant to do if I get "backstabbed" by a guy who's in the center of my screen? Super lame.
ty, i wouldn't call it janky mechanics--stabs like the one at 1:30 look the way they do because it depends on what the server sees, not necessarily either client, so it's a matter of breaking ankles to trick your enemy into turning their back to you just a little, and timing the stab for that exact moment.

@@hannayapelekai1628 noregs and hitboxes issues that people like shounic talk about a lot. the worst offender when it comes to backstabs is probably ping, hitreg works more in your favor the lower your ping is, and ping differences can def mess with melee hitreg
