- As part of the Rockers Movement Innerview series we bring you the first reasoning with Vaughn "Akae Beka" Benjamin lead singer of Midnite after their rescheduled 2015 tour. He is discussing life changes, convictions and revelations that compel the new moniker The Akae Beka. The interview touches on his musical journey, the Book of Enoch, Nelson Mandela Day and his views on the current affairs of the world and accomplishing peace, his Majesty's face in the moon, this journey called life and more. For years I was a Methodist/Christian and became bored and disgusted with, the pastors overtime becoming corrupt within the churches. I had always been drawn to Rastafari since a teenager, in learning about Vaughn Benjamin (Akae Beka) thru my daughter during COVID. I became more in tune with Rastafari listening to his words, music, and teachings. I can proudly say I have converted to RASTAFARI PERMANENTLY because of this King and his teachings, showing us light and love and warnings of the Babylon system today. Sam Gibson Hi Sam, No...Midnite is not touring at this time. The event in Colorado is just Vaughn Benjamin. I think it may be a spoken word performance (i.e. sort of like poetry) but I'm not sure. Midnite will hopefully start touring again this fall. Peace.

Sam Gibson No problem...I was going to see them in Ithaca, NY in February and was also disappointed that the tour was postponed. One of the band members had a serious medical issue...they weren't specific as to which band member but I'm thinking it was not Vaughn Benjamin because he is now going to be in Colorado. I have it on pretty good authority that Midnite will start touring again hopefully this fall. They have also said that all the cancelled shows (Portland, Ithaca, etc.) will be rescheduled. So that pretty much rocks! :D
