A MORE OLD SCHOOL EXISTENCE IN THE PHILIPPINES

The western world is a muddled mess of chaos and confusion. One can get lost in the mix. Humans are slowly being pulled away from their true nature. Parts of SE Asia have yet to fully succumb to that fate.
A more simple life can be obtained in the Philippines

I hear you. My mates don't get why I am here and why I am happy with what they call a "rundown" place. I live in Manila in 17-year-old condo and is mainly mid-class Filipinos. They maintain it well but let's face it, it is run down compared to new condo. But I love it at half the price of a new condo. I'm 67, I did not just move for the dollar or the girls. I wanted the last phase of my life to be a new adventure. I did not want to spend the rest of my life living in the same place as last 20 years, shopping in same place as last 20 years, drinking in the same place as last 20 years - you get the picture.
I feel alive again. I have dropped 4 medications. I have lost 13kg, I am now the same weight I was in early 30s. I am ALIVE again. So for my mates that just "don't get it" - YOUR LOSS DUDES.
The crabs here do sucks though. I am from Gold Coast Australia where our mud crabs would not even eat those crabs as bait, they are just way too small.

@@ReadySetGo113 hey mate! You seem to have a grasp on it that many simply fail to have. Life is too short to live in the parameters they've designed. And it truly is a design. Good on you for living life on your own terms.
And ya man...crab here is way way too small ..spend an hour plucking at them for a tiny bite haha.
First time I saw those ones with bigger blue legs. Might be more satisfying than the average crab you get here where there's like a pea sized piece of meat in them haha
