You saved a person's life. Again 15 years of learning to make lives better, was well worth the education. You do only your best that's all you gotta do.
Dr. Hoeflinger, Not only do i appreciate your skills, but I very much value your mellow kindness shown to families under such stressful events. So many doctors seem to be on extreme ego trips and lack common decency in explaining prognosis. They resent questions. I really hope you are not one of a kind... but i feel you are just that. Thank you.
Just listening to Dr. Hoeflinger I can safely deduce that he would not be offended by any questions presented to him by patient of family. He might even welcome intelligent questions. I so admire the intelligence and skill of the surgeons that are able to save lives. They are truly gifts from God. 🤍🕊
I'm in Illinois, I work for two general surgeons. And they have said, living no more than 25 minutes away from the hospital is a blessing. Especially if they have emergency cases. Much respect for all surgeons 👋🏻
I lost my husband 20 years ago of a glioblastoma, the 2nd opinion we got the neurosurgeon told us,one year with or without operation,he was operated on twice by the second one he nearly died but my husband wanted the operations,he died 3 months after the diagnosis, there was nothing much left of this strong, intelligent man, what a horrible death, the op's were done in Brussels where my husband was head of an international organisation, the neurosurgeon was a famous one,but in the hospital it lacked of empathy,I would have liked a doctor like you are Dr. Hoefliger,by the way my 2 sons are doctors.
My neuro surgeon came in the night. I praise God for my healing but also for the whole team and their expertise. My neurosurgeon is my hero. I know they got to where they are from a great sacrifice. I was flown to Temple texas Scott, and White gave me a whole team. Thank you. It seems so little compared to what you guys have done. I will use my life to repay you and give. Thank each of you so much. God bless you
While I appreciate all that you post, I appreciate even more that you clearly care about the people under your care, whether they’re the patient or their families. Knowing that you care helps lift their burden. (I know from experience.😢)
I have so much respect for what you and your team does to save lives. You have such a calming way about you and I'm sure that when the families of your patients talk with you they must feel that their loved one is in the best hands possible. Thanks so much for what you do.
Thank you for what you do… I have had my share of neurosurgeons over the last few years, hoping the last was my last time for awhile. It seems that you are a very caring and dedicated doctor, something very hard to find in today’s world. I wish this patient continued healing !
A similar Dr as kind and talented as you are saved my beautiful DIL 9 1/2 years ago after a stroke and bleeding on the brain. At first she had pretty severe aphasia (33 years old), but with focused rehab and time, she did very well and was back to caring for our 3 year old twin grandkids. So very grateful for your caring and skill!
i just can’t imagine any human capable of this. i struggle to sleep every night, and make it through the day on zoom calls sitting at my desk. some humans are so different
It is thanks to Drs like you that I am alive. 6 shunt revisions in nearly 36 years due to my congenital hydrocephalus. My last surgery to date was July 1st 2010.
Dr H … you are truly a gem !!! I marvel at your knowledge and dedication to your profession but the humble way you carry yourself …. I am touched ! You are certainly a blessing to all those those lives you have touched … if and when I ever need or my family needs a neurosurgeon… I pray they be like you ! Thank you Dr !!! Prayers 🙏 for you ❤
This was a great video. I would like to see a video about a real life situation (doesn’t matter how old the case is) where the family declined surgery and why they declined? Perhaps talk about the patient’s age and comorbidies.
Truly, you're an angel in disguise to this patient and his family. Your dedication and skills change lives from terrible paths they were sliding down on. I have such reverence for doctors because of this.
❤ yes I Absolutely want to hear more Stories about you being a Neurosurgeon because I deal with Neurosurgeons in NY for Vp Hydro. Since birth. Your Amazing. I wish you were in NY. Practicing md. Be Safe, Be Well.
Its stories of neurosurgery in the er which made me more confident to get planned neurosurgery And with that said, I am going for a v-eeg in May Sometimes I think how I’d want the best neurosurgeon to go over my neurosurgery prep Notes to double check.
I’m calling for you as my neurosurgeon specialist if I need one; yes I’ll include the airfare and putting you up in an oceanfront resort on this island!
Have you ever operated on someone's brain that had to stay awake ie like the operation Micheal J Fox had for his Parkinson's symptoms? Is the patient lying or sitting in a special chair?
This world is a better place because you are in it Dr. Hoeflinger. Thank you for your dedication.
People glorify and
make celebrities rich; these are the true celebrities/heroes of this world
Yup, they can make a movie, but they can't build a tittie
I realize this a few months ago. It dawned on me that I would rather meet Elon musk than my favorite celebrity
Because he is smart, genius
Amen to that.....
Your caring nature, dedication plus 20+ years of experience, saved this patient. You are an awesome doctor!🌟

When my Dad had a massive ischemic stroke, this is exactly how the process went and down to conversation we had with his neurosurgeon.

6 in 35 years that may be a record. So good that you have access to healing and it has proven very beneficial to you. Long happy healthy life to you.
@@Mike-kr4br it's not uncommon for some people to need over 100 surgeries in their lifetimes.
Love the work you are doing for humanity
I can’t even get to the bathroom without bumping into the wall in the middle of the night

A tough life for you, but life-giving.
I totally agree🙂👍🏽🎉
Dear Doc❤❤❤❤
You guys are my heroes
So I’m just curious when did you go to hospital for next day’s work
How do you know the best way to access a problem part of the brain, in 3D space, from 2D imaging?
Did you have to work that same day after you got home?
I’m calling for you as my neurosurgeon specialist if I need one; yes I’ll include the airfare and putting you up in an oceanfront resort on this island!
Even I should become like u
how often do you get called for all that? dont they have any surgeon who knows that on duty?
Called in emergently four times that week
So what happened to that patient?? He he survive??
Hey sir I noticed you are working on your content I specialize in Viral Video Editing and would love to help you go viral on social media.
You also can’t foresee he won’t wake up later. Drs. Know very little about the brain and body recovery
You’re exactly right
Wooow
🙏
❤
