The thing about transfer 3-Star QB’s is that they can be redshirt freshman and sophomore’s and an 80-81 overall. Take Ethan Grunkemeyer, from Penn St, who was a Top 100 player out of high school and would have been a redshirt sophomore for you. He was in the Transfer Portal and had Buffalo 4th. We could have gotten him. An 80-81 Sophomore is better than anything we have now. Just a thought. Love you, Cane!
you absolutely need to make RB a priority. You lose two senior depth pieces so that Buffalo will only have 2 RBs on next year's roster. And one, Dingle, has 79 injury rating.
I brought in Walker White to Memphis as a transfer and he was excellent for me. Would have been a fun portal QB to go after! Super pumped for this year with the upgrades across both lines.
Cane, look at moving a couple FS to SS for better depth. Also look to see if any DT have any blocking skills to help with any depth there. I would see if any of your lower tier WR could move to DB or vise versa for help. Also move some of your WR with break tackle and carrying ability to help at HB depth, and use a couple TE's for FB by changing there positions. I also think your recent SS could possibly be a good LB so take a look at that change as well. And please by all means look at Athletes for running backs and defensive players. They are generally faster with better change of direction and tackling.
Some of those ATH “offensive lineman” make excellent DE/DT’s. There are some 3 stars that aren’t being recruited throughout the season or end of year that you grab in the offseason. Ended up with a 76 elite improviser that way. I view them like the two stars that slip past the radar to become NFL players. Love the dynasty, this season feels like a pivot point for the Bulls.
Yo this team is going to be great in season three. A lot of tough players to make playing time for. I do wonder if some house rules need to come into play for recruiting already. I don't know what they would be, but it is pretty crazy to have such a glass of freshman and then transfer players as a zero star school and with so few hours. I think it's probably just OP in the game, like it was in NCAA 14.
Couple tips for recruiting based on my experience. -Looking at recommended is a good starting point but always make sure to sort by ranking. Helps to find better interested and gems that way. -The portal is very hit and miss 99/100 guys are already in their top 8 or 5 so if they are not interested in you right away, you got no shot. -Keep in mind you can only schedule 4 players per weekly visit As far as Im aware nothing in the game tells you this. Also keep in mind that when a player commits to keep you it does not open up a new slot for his original visit week If you don't like the top 3 a recruit has, you can always spend 30 to try and persuade them more into interests that better align with your program (However, doesn't always work)
There's a youtuber that actually broke down scientifically/mathematically if it's better to Send the House of Hard Sell. The formula is actually easy to understand and use.
With the amount of times I've seen cane throw into double and triple coverage, i think this is the mental breakdown of an average cane at QB throw: 1) stare at primary target (Primary target gets covered) 2) find the guy who's in single coverage *Do not throw there* 3) scramble and find the most covered guy out there 4) throw the worst type of throw possible for the situation
Heads up about the numbers. If you edit the number of a player on one side of the ball, but will affect a player on the other side of the ball. For instance, if no one has #32 on the defense, it will let you change a defender’s number to #32. However, it will change Lamar Sperling’s number to something totally random, and it won’t let you change it since he’s an NIL player.
I agree with hard sell. I think the easiest way to achieve a difference by creating a risk/reward situation--if you use the hard sell you lose the access to the additional points but a successful hard sell gives you the more than send the house but a missed hard sell hurts you as much.
Having a slow qb absolutely nukes your rushing yards and sack numbers as well. I have a feeling that’s going to be a problem again this year with the qb you have
Y did u keep skipping over that wr wroten? 6ft 4 200lbs physical archetype he has u as his second top interest and is a 3star who ranks 106 in all of the portal. He’s from Virginia so not close to home but not too far either and his dealbreaker is play style but u have an A for that.
Don’t trust team overalls at all minus when you go to actually play them, they do not update unless you play them. I was in like year 10 of a dynasty and Troy had 15 players above an 85 overall but their team was still showing as an 76/77/76 which is what they start out as. Even when you play teams the overall will stay whatever it was last time you played them
crazy i used to watch your minnesota dynasty on my tablet in elementary school now i watch you after work over a decade later
Btw I think you should have Braylon Staley taking the slot snaps. You’ve been missing that speed in the slot and will help with screens
I second this as a Vols fan

Braylon Staley was a beast for me in an MTSU dynasty out of the slot. Use him as a gadget player too and he’s broken against the lower competition

I smell 5 wins

This will be a tranformative class for the program. Well done.
37:48 ... 6'7 340? Damn that's a big boi 😂
Cane, Army is another New York school you should play at some point.
Nah. Army is fine by itself

I seem to remember Cane saying this stream wouldn't be too long...
The last one was 4 hours 🤣 This is the short stream

If the season isn't going well for Watts, I'd love to see Elway start a few games without burning the redshirt.
Quenten Pollard apparently has skills that can't be expressed by numbers. He's Mr. Reliable, have to get him on the field.
It looks like the passes to the halfback is going to be a go-to play with Sperling.
Blazen Lono-Wong was one letter away from greatness
Cane, in the future there’s no need to scout the portal guys if they’re at least a 3 star transfer. They’re gonna have at least solid ratings
The 3s I still feel a need to scout. Those players are more mid-high 70s, which matches a lot of our current starters.
I missed this one today. But hey - I think you should absolutely put playbooks on each of Pacheco’s wrists. You can call him Space Ghost.
Can't wait to see what fan favorite Viking gets cut from the team on Friday! Thanks Cane! :)
Northern Illinois went 1-11 while going 1-3 at home. That's so brutal.

32:30 Maybe Gunnar Gray goes to the CFL, Canada's right across from Buffalo after all.
Great . Go Buffalo.
The Bulls, NOT the Bills.
Georgia St, battle of the blue jerseys.
Came, if it gives you hope, in my Vandy dynasty, Buffalo knocks off Penn State in year 3 and Lamar Sperling progresses to like a 92 overall.
It gives ME hope, does that still count? 😊
Hey Cane, I know it’s too late for this season. But with the news of the PAC-12 adding 4 teams, would you consider those changes for next season?
Good Year to start on FM (Football Manager). New one has been delayed but comes out in November I think. Hook up with Zealand, he will help you out.
Imagine not recruiting a QB in the transfer portal because you already recruited a 66 overall QB 😅
That’s mr. Hurriicane football
When looking at what recruits to look at, you should also consider their ranking when deciding who to put on your board
Pacheco will start at some point in the season
Having a slow qb absolutely nukes your rushing yards and sack numbers as well. I have a feeling that’s going to be a problem again this year with the qb you have
I think especially with rushing yards that's a concern if I want to add OL in the portal. Thankfully none of our OL have the Play Style dealbreaker.
Want Buffalo to be top in New York, might as well throw Rutgers into the mix
Except that Rutges is in New Jersey. Just sayin'.
@@DolFan316 Barely, but you are correct. But New York and New Jersey share teams and stadiums
@@DolFan316 Rutgers is closer to NYC though
You should play Pacheco or elway over watts the people want the youngsters
Nickel as my 2nd TE.
Pachecko looked liked the best QB
2:08:19 Quite literally, given that he's 5'7".
Is there a way to see the difference when looking at the training results? Or do you just make your own notes?
Gotta make notes
Y did u keep skipping over that wr wroten? 6ft 4 200lbs physical archetype he has u as his second top interest and is a 3star who ranks 106 in all of the portal. He’s from Virginia so not close to home but not too far either and his dealbreaker is play style but u have an A for that.
And he’s a freshman
Shettron looks good but is gonna be a senior and his play style is deep threat which u said u didn’t want lol smh
Hoping he changed playbooks this offseason lol.

Temple is a rival of Buffalo in CFB 25
New quarterbacks to suck with!
D line has depth
Ok I'm late but why didn't any one tell him about the other DE
Not optimistic about the upcoming season, looks a little 5-7 to me.
That would be a failure he has so much talent at receiver and 2 good rbs. Capable qb and the defense is real nice for the MAC
Nah, way too good an offseason to only improve by one win.
Don't recruit power lineman they don't progress the agile side at all it is glitched like how field general QB's don't improve short accuracy.
If this team doesn’t make a bowl game I’ll seriously question if it’s purposeful. Too much talent at key positions to not have a successful season.
You definitely screwed up the in season roster playing with the custom roster so much lol
What the heck is brick breaker ability?
The player is a karate black belt who can break bricks with his chops.
Hernandez Patricia Miller Donald Davis Kevin
Young Sarah Brown Amy Anderson Ruth
Lewis George Young Helen Hall Elizabeth
