He still is. Alatreon's fight is amazing and satisfying; I had to polish my build and way to play until I could solo him. However, I still can't solo Extremoth with HR gear. Even the regular Behemoth took me longer than Alatreon.
@@GustavoMartinez-qh7ew That boss isn't easy in solo mode, as far as I know HP isn't scaling, I managed to beat extreme behemoth once by joining a session that was try Harding the boss, I took my cheese lbg build and managed to beat him, but yeah I think he's harder to beat solo than alatreon, you must find a team

Just out of curiosity, why not use Alatreon’s DB with 3 piece Safi + 2 piece Velkhana? Or does Kjarr + 5 piece Safi do more damage? Because I’ve been using the former set for Dragon DB for my hunts. Idk if it does more elemental damage than the Kjarr 5 piece though. Either way, nice video as always! I really appreciate all of them. You’re the reason why I main Dual Blades in MHWI’s endgame. It’s always great to study your techniques and learn new approaches to a monster, especially the new ones that come out.
Don't quote me on this, but I think I heard somewhere that it deals a tiny bit less damage than 5 piece safi + kulve. Something like 1-2% less, which is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.
Once it's "dead" it will send out one last EM, dying for real when the animation has played out. I don't know if it killed itself with it in FFXIV or something, but in Monster Hunter it's just for show afaik.

@@syrusse8660 Indeed, he's always in multiplayer mode. The only time I beat him was on duo with a friend. Good times.
