    What a wonderful save!
Having a Precedent Stampe myself in the shed, never flown by me, needs some restauration though. On of the "TO DO" projects, hopefully this winter.
Greetings from Belgium, home of the Stampe

Belgium will always have a special place in my heart because of the stampe! As you can see it flies well, even on the ragged edge of a stall.

What a freaking awesome video!!! Great flying, great aerial videography! What is the all up weight of this? What fuel, prop, plug? If I could give more than 1 Like I would; maybe 7! I need to go watch this one on my living room TV! the person behind the camera has to be an RC pilot as well. Am I right? And it ends with an awesome deadstick! Fantastic video!

Thanks. Photography is #1 Son Rocco.
Not only does he fly, but has been filming me since 1988 with a bell and howell super 8 movie camera. Somewhere here in my youtube vids is a vhs of him taking off the top wing and me flying it on the bottom wing. Note this was our first stampe in '89 with an OS 120. not our second one from the build thread.
      The stampe is 15 lbs.
      running a MAS 18/6 prop
      On Cool power 10%
with a cheapie N4 plug from ebay.
Here is the build thread of the stampe:

@@taildragger1589 Yep, I could tell that the cameraman was a flier by the way he was able to track and predict maneuvers while keeping the plane in frame. Only a pilot could really do that. When my grandson was filming me fly he could not anticipate turns or anything and it makes for a poor video. Most aerial RC videos are not very well done.

do you flip the prop clock wise?

Yes, but it's because most of my engines are four stroke and will kick back hard enough to throw your chicken stick 20 yards. So I prime it and flip it backwards then when it kicks forward it starts in the right direction. I do it this way because I don't really like electric starters though I have one as a backup in case I get a hard to start engine.
