Hi! thanks for the tutorial. My dropdown menu covers the texts in my home page and they are too far from each other. How do I make them narrow and place in front?
How do I get the menu to have the submenus under a main page category in mobile view? Right now it just makes one long list of all the pages, even though the mobile menu in appearance/edit has the pages in the subcategory sections?
How do I get the menu option to show up in the appearance section, I just have "theme, premium theme, editor*beta, customize, pop-up builder And upload theme
good video , but like with wpforms explain,,, you dont say what happens to the empty page / category you need to then have drop down pages/ blogs attached to it? i.e i want a tab saying 'locations' and in locations i want 4 pages of different locations we work from. but..can i stop the user clicking on the locations tab?? thx
Great video. Where you have "videos" in your menu, how do you make that where it's just the menu title, but not an actual page. I have a menu title called "recipes". But I actually don't want that to be a page with content, because I will have drop down pages for that menu title. I hope this makes sense.
I love all the help you have given me for building my website. I am looking for a drop-down list (not menu in the header). I have many posts for different countries. I need a drop-down list on the page, beneath the fold, for the user to select the country they are traveling to and it links them to the post for that page. Can I do this? Any help is appreciated.
Great video but what i really wanted to know is how to move those boxes from left to right so they align better with the header menu, mine is all to one side at the moment and i want it more central. If you can help please!
Hey hi @createwpsite. I want to create dropdown menu but no post or pages will be created for that because those menu-items will be redirected to other page in other websites, how can like create header like that in wordpress. hope you understood my requirement please do let me know how to do that explain through a video. thank you in advance
We have an anchor link to a drop down menu. Practically one drop down menu item is 'CLIENTS' which should direct people to the homepage but scroll automatically to the clients section on the home page. It works perfectly fine on desktop but on mobile it is glitching. It tries to scroll down to that section of the homepage but them jumps back up to the top. I have no idea how to fix. Do you have any advice?
thx man, maybe u can help me with some other menu stuff: i want to create a submenue for my subpoint in my menu. like: -Website ---overview ---whats up ---whats new ---the newest new ---about us ---me ---myself ---and I they all show up in the dropdown of my menu point "website" but i just want to show up when I hover over like "overview" and then "whats up" and "Whats new" shows up but NOT "the newest new" u understand me and can u help me? thx man!

The one thing I can't figure out... how do I create a new category other than the few that exist? I don't want for example "Videos" to have it's own page that's clickable, I want it empty with just it's dropdowns clickable. But I can't find "create new category" anywhere?
@@cityofdreams573 sadly not. I found creating a category and yet it creates it own clickable empty page which was just as bad. So I ended up creating a new link and had to redirect to whatever the first link on my list was, as there is no way to prevent it being clickable. Major wordpress oversight

I hope he would respond to your comment. It will be very helpful to me as well.
Did you figure it out? I've been trying to find a solution to this for over a year! So please do share if you managed to sort it out. Much appreciated
Instead of creating a new page, create a custom link, and on the link field put the "#" sign. Let me know if this helps
@@usajimary That worked for me! Thank you so much! ❤❤❤

I'm just wondering, how did you change your pages into categories?
This was super helpful, thank you! I'm wondering if there's a way to have those drop down menu options open in a new tab?
if you click on the parent label there's an option to select that says open in a new tab
lOVE YOU

thankyou for your help! my drop down menu is right aligned - how can i make it left aligned like yours?

Hey :) I´m looking for a solution to remove the dropdown arrow but keep the dropdown function. Do you have an idea? thank u! :)
find the arrow class/id in the browser (developers tools) and add custom css code to the website that hides that element (display:none; for instance)
you weren't using WP blocks, right? Appearance seems to have no Menu option since I'm using blocks.
thx man, maybe u can help me with some other menu stuff: i want to create a submenue for my subpoint in my menu.

-Website
---overview
---whats up
---whats new
---the newest new

Great video. But how can we make the pages has select option in a page
Hello sir! What if I don't see the menu option when you hover on the appearance, where can I find it instead? Thank you!
Nice video. Would it work for a free WP account?
How do I get the menu to have the submenus under a main page category in mobile view? Right now it just makes one long list of all the pages, even though the mobile menu in appearance/edit has the pages in the subcategory sections?
Select the off canvas option as well my brother; God bless you!
how to move the dropdown menu elements from right to left not from left to right, or centered ? " under videos tab "
Hello, does anyone know how to delete the arrow? So all the same, just no arrow visible. Thanks!
Hi, for some reason my dropdown menu works but it looks terrible and doesn't sit under the heading?
Menus is not an option for me under appearance🤔
I'm using the Rishi theme and this method is not working for my website

@@mollieglad welcome
I did same but not working for me help.
It actually doesn't work if you have programmed your own site using PHP. Not sure how to get it to work in the navbar custom-coding it.
If you add 10 sub pages, only 7-8 will show up how to see the rest
