I had got laid off a few months prior from 1st shift. They only had 2nd shift positions available, so I took it. A few months later, a 1st shift position came open, so I bid on it and got it based off of seniority. Well , I had to train my replacement for two weeks before I could go back to the first shift. The individual I trained went on a killing spree inside the plant a couple of days after I went back to 1st shift. I saw him in the locker room that day. I said, "What's up had a brief conversation with him. Dapped him up and I left. 30 minutes later my mom calls me in a panic asking where I was. By that time I was on the block chillin with the homies. My mom told me to turn on the news. Low and behold the guy I trained was in the building shooting people who always picked on him. He killed 4 or 5 people before turning the gun on himself. He killed himself!! It fucked me up because if I was one of the ones who was picking on him he could've killed me at point blank range. I was face to face with this man literally 30 before he started killing people!! That's why I'm always cool with everyone. As long as you don't fuck with me I won't fuck with you. Mental health is real. Be kind to people because you never know what someone's mental state is like or what they might do because of it. Blessings on gawd

This episode really hit different from me i've always been the known as the "quiet person" no matter where I was at somehow I still got bullied and picked on the one day I wasn't the quiet anymore and let all of my anger go that's when the people that was bothering me were shocked that I got out of character. I remember watching people at my school get picked on by other people and when I saw them at their breaking point, I had to step in & talk to them about how to deal with bullying. I was bullied by others ever since I was little so I resonated with Jeffery but one thing that my dad taught me was they can talk all that stuff to you as long as they don’t put their hands on you. And as soon as they put their hands on you, beat the shit out of them until the cops come. But that message was for middle school and high school and I couldn’t get my hands on a gun and dealing with the same thing in workplace makes it harder to do your job. Plus I talked to my uncle who did time in prison and told me not to let the small stuff get to you. I grew thicker skin over the years and learned how to roast people back. Nowadays when I see people getting bullied for being quiet and passive, I step in and give them advice on how to deal with it and how to improve their image.

He used to invite everyone to his bday lunches/dinners or to a gig(he played keyboard) but no one would show up and mgrs used to pick at him. All he wanted was someone to listen and I'm glad I was there cause who knows what could've happened. Moral~ treat people with respect and kindness.

I was in that situation with my daughter. When I picked her up to go get something to eat or grocery shopping, I made sure that I always got enough food/ groceries for her and her little brother. For me, it was always the right thing to do. The kids don’t pick the situation and it’s important not to make one feel more important than the other, even though her lil brother wasn’t my child. That’s just me.
