It’s just a shame there isn’t pictures of this amazing house when I lived there, marble floors marble stairs…. Had to change it all when it went into just the elderly! I lived there in the 70s in the White House….and seeing it being demolished is heartbreaking! It was a home for orphans not just a boys home it was a children’s home! Your mother knows nothing!

Marble stairs 😮😮 do you remember any of the nuns names ? I'd have loved to have seen it with the marble floors I bet it was squeaky clean back then too 🤔

Thank you so much… for this video.
I have been inside the place it is very atmospheric, well it was…
Thing is that a very large new care home has been built recently and could have used Nazareth House.

very interesting place, shame they are going to pull it all down, all that kitchen ware would have cost a fortune to install (stainless steel), such a lot of history in there, i remember back in the day used to see lots of nuns walking about in that part of the town, shame to see an old building like that being lost.

Such a shame to demolish such a beautiful building. I remember when I was at my primary school in the 1960s, there were some boys I was friends with at school who actually lived in this building as it was a boys home in those days. One of those boys ended up becoming a Catholic priest. 🙏
