i don't think anyone is serious about calling i like it problematic lmao, this all started bcs skz themselves were making fun of it saying that the protagonist of the song is trash, but it's all very lighthearted. also, chan and felix wrote runners so u were right!!!
Thanks for saying that about I like it. I feel the same about it. Its not a red flag to be honest and communicate what you want even if that's not what the other person wants. And it's absolutely not wrong to not want serious relationships for whatever reason
For the song I LIKE IT, I.N said in a video of theirs and I quote: “I don’t get it/understand it.”😂 StrayKids themselves felt like it’s a bit problematic😂😂😂
I guess I would say to that, that if they “don’t get it” then they don’t realize why it actually ISN’T problematic but rather healthy to be able to communicate what you actually want in your relationship. 💕
Wow, I am just back from your Golden reaction and here we are with my boys. What a treat, thank you. I always wait for your reactions to my faves cause they resonate with me a lot. I am absolutely with you on “ I like it “ meaning. It feels like SKZ were kinda bothered how fans would accept this song, cause some people are very sensitive to such stuff…. This song is actually my favourite both musically and lyrically. Just it vibes with me and my view towards life in general. I think many of us as grown ups at least once have been through this stage when you are not ready yet to say forever. And it is OK not to be ready for commitment if you voice it to the person directly, rather than be hypocritical while not being ready which sooner or later would bring to a complete disaster. And if they are on the same page with this, it’s even better to voice it sooner. I am all for communication in relationships to save extra drama. Love the whole album. Definitely my most favourite of their few recent ones. I would love for you to react to their recent solos during their concert in Korea. They all did so good with their solos but Chan outdid himself and killed the whole fandom, lol. They mature so nicely and it shows through their work… Great reaction
Thanks for the reaction!! My favorite song is actually I like it. Then jjam and chk chk boom festival version. Honestly all songs are so good🤍 My sister that isn’t into K-pop has already probably listened to I like it more than me 😭🤣
My favorite song is I Like It on this album and one of my friends said that the backing track sounds like Luigi's Mansion and now I cant unhear it 🤣 Still my fav though
Also the “I like it’s” in the end when it slows down is actually Han and Felix and the “yeah I love that I like it but I don’t wanna love” at the end where they say it’s Seungmin was also Han !
Blackpink, Lisa and le serafim both performed two songs each in today vmas award 2024 in the usa. Its an american music award show. They gave lisa the main stage while le serafim the vmas pre show stage lol 🤦🏾 The award Should be fair for all... The performances is on youtube!..
Idk, I don't think I Like It is toxic toxic per say, not like say Miserable by Han, but to me it still seems a little... Esp the lines "don't ask what are we"- this feels like the protag is leading the other person on. "let's not go official, we can keep the you & me"- this one feels like they're keeping this whatever-ship like a dirty secret... like they're embarrassed/ashamed of the other person. Like I have no problems w/ FWB or casual relationships, but the way protag is going about it feels... Fuckboy-ish. Idk, just feel icky to me. Han said he rly didn't like one of his lines in this, but tbh I didn't rly get it. That's what I think, ofc. Def not as cute as the vibe xD
Them saying "let's not go official, we can keep the you and me" is them saying becoming official comes with losing a personal identity and autonomy. Once people become a couple, they often get exclusively known by a couple name/known as someone else's partner. Taking this stance let's the person keep their individuality rather than "only sold as a pair, do not separate"

@@saywhatreacts Yea, for me, I don’t think it’s problematic/a red flag. I guess it depends on how the person sees the song🙂↕️🤷🏾♀️

Youtiful is the other song entirely in English and that song came in 5 Star

Runner was co-written by Felix I believe.
The noise in the back sounds like a theremin to me!
In I like it☺️
I believe that's what it is!!
I like it is my green flag song, fav track on the album. It has a bachata feel to it 💚
Straykids 🔥🔥🔥💖💖💖💟💟💟💕💕💕💕
