Thanks for the great explanation on PIM. I thought P1/P2 licensing is at Tenant level. Isn't it so? If my understanding is correct then why you explicitly mentioned in this clip that "John Smith" has P2 license and hence you are choosing him? Am I hearing that PIM can be implemented only for Azure AD users having P2 license? Thanks.
Great video sir.. Learned a lot from your videoS Why don't you make a SharePoint online videos in our channel. Please make a video on SharePoint as well as Teams admin center
So the user has the role assignment until january, but he has to activate it everytime? Not sure if I got that right, but you can do permanent assignment, and still require activation? I'm trying to setup PIM for my developers to activate local administrator on their laptops to allow for software and package installations for their local development environment.
What if the role is going to expiry for the end and the approver is not set for that roles. Will the end user will automatically be able to extend the role by clicking on extend option directly.
Hi, I have a question, i am the Ad admin and i only have P2 license. I have to configure Just in time access to all my users. But they also need P2 license?? or free tier is fine..
Both Eligible and Active assignments have option to provide start and end date of assignment when we uncheck the Permanently eligible checkbox then what is the difference between Eligible and Active assignments if we are able to do same in both. PS: Currently, we do have option for Eligible asisgnments to make permanent. Please answer
There is no option like to provide start and end dates for active assignments... When you select active assignments the start and end dates will be greyed out...
