I’m new to the RV life, so I was expecting a demonstration of the sleeping features which wasn’t addressed. Additionally, the abundance of wood cabinetry reminded me of much older designs. Lastly, the 200K MSRP explains why there are so many DIY van conversions.
Yes!!!! Thank you for highlighting this unit! I love that there are still some well-made RVs out there! Now just have to work the budget! You guys are awesome!
Very nice small Rv. Love the floor plan. It’s huge inside. Love the kitchen and the big micro wave. Thank you Izzy and MJ for showing this Phoenix Cruiser. I like it. You can anyways show more of these. These are not bad. I can see you both in something like this in a few years! Lol! I’m messing with you! You know me! Love you guys! ❤️ Tell that woman she did a great job showing this Rv.
Loving that kitchen location. The extension makes it look so much better. The only hesitation on this motor home is the sleeping situation. In next video, maybe open the couch so we can see ease of opening the bed and then closing. In bathroom stand in the shower so we get visual of the space available. I was impressed with cabinet style and color. Beautiful interior. This motor home would be at top five on my list of this class. 😊
I purchased the release cleaner a month ago and finally had a nice day to wash our Greyhawk .today I was very happy with the product especially with it ability to clean the front cap and all the bug buildup.
It looks more like a class B than a C.... and if you are a couple, you would have to put the slide out to use the sofa bed....correct? I didn't see any other bed options. Sometimes, in certain situations, you may not want to use slides. We don't have any slides in our small 5th wheel and love it. I like the corner kitchen, dry bath and Hickory wood. They packed a lot into a small space! The wood looks more homey, especially if you're full-time.
They should show it with the slide in. Lots of people don't want to use a slide, and need to see if the sofa is usable with it in, and the bed pulled out. I didn't get a great look at the shower, but the bigger the better.
Agreed! How is this considered reasonably priced? quarter million bucks for a Ford Transit van with RV parts stapled and screwed in. I get the most expensive thing is the paint. the rest are all bulk warehouse items.
Finally someone mentioned CCC! Thank you! It should be in ANY and all RV reviews! (Matt gets it!), Because at the end of the day safety is #1! On another note, I purchased the gallon concrete of release, with the foam sprayer. I have to say, after 8 years RVing, over 35 states, fighting bugs on my rig, FINALLY, a product that actually works! It really really works! Great product!
I’m really impressed by what I’ve seen especially if I was traveling alone. It’s just beautiful and the potential for four wheel drive is excellent. I’m keen to see the bed and it’s comfort. It’s a shame there’s no drop down bed. The cargo weight is somewhat inadequate and that means there’s no towing capacity. Otherwise I’m really impressed and will definitely want to view one. 😊🌟💫
The floor plan is nice, but if they could design a drop down bed like the Wingamm, lose all the wood like the Embassy rvs, and eliminate propane and the generator while beefing up a lithium battery bank they may have a world beater.
I agree completely! I would much rather have a Murphy bed or a drop-down bed. I have no interest in sleeping on a sofa bed every night. I also don’t think it makes sense not to have solar panels in this day and age.
I agree, with the exception of no generator.. I’d like the piece of mind of having backup power, just in case.. Also, how about self leveling, so you wouldn’t have to drive onto blocks…. ?
Wow, I'm going to mention the elephant in the room. You didn't show what the bed looked like when set up as a bed. I always picture these 'converts to a bed' couches to be uncomfortable.
That's really nice but is there an option to get it without the slide or the sofa so I could customize it to my liking, also is there solar on the roof. I'm a retired chef and this setup has me excited. 🤯🤓👍🏾❤❤❤❤
My only criticism is the use of a three way refrigerator. 12 volt compressor refrigerators work so much better and have more interior space for the same footprint. This really surprises me for a premium brand like Phoenix Cruiser.
It's gorgeous on the outside and inside. Bathroom and kitchen are great. Reliable chassis with AWD. Good aerodynamics and style. Compressor fridge plus lithium and solar are way more efficient and safer than propane fridge but my compressor fridge is noisy when sleeping. Is generator gasoline or propane? For just making coffee or running the microwave, an inverter is fine. Excellent choice putting the microwave at eye level instead of knee level. Generous pantry and wardrobe! Great TV. Can the bed be left open all the time? Miles per gallon, fuel tank capacity? Sound system? I'm assuming no towing ability. It's a VERY nice motorhome, would prefer a great bedroom and dinette and no living room, instead of no dinette. I like to cook, eat, work and sleep, living is outdoors. When I saw the Dometic thermostat I cringed because my Dometic heat pump/AC is so noisy it drives me nuts. A beautiful RV, would be proud to own a similar one. Thank you for the nice video. Cheers!
Everything seemed really tiny. The sleeping arrangements are inadequate for full time travel from the looks of it (even though we never saw what it really looks like in bed mode), forget any visitors or friends over. No space for bringing grandkids along. Heck, I don’t think I want to sleep in that bed.
Their website says it comes with a 2.8kW generator, not a 4k. Not for sure what an aluminum steel frame is. Wish my 2001 class C had waterproof walls. They weren't advertised as waterproof, but seem to keep the rain out somehow.
Phoenix makes a really quality small RV. They are like CoachHouse here in Palm Beach, FL. The only issue I have is that the interior looks dated. At least have an option to give customers a more modern looking interior. I think that would capture a bigger audience. If I'm spending 180-200k and waiting for a build it's gonna be a Leisure.
Looks like a great unit with the rear kitchen and bath. And unfortunately, in typical fashion of most RV videos, the unit is shown with slide already OPEN. Would have liked to see how much space there is with SLIDE IN. would have liked to see the sofa-bed opened. Also, can the sofa-bed be opened with slide in? That would be great if you're stopping somewhere overnight where you can park, but not be allowed to open your slide.
My folks had a 1987 MH built on a Ford Chassis w 460 Gas motor. It was 24 ft. long by 8 ft. wide, no slide. It has more in its layout than this rig. It had permanent Twin Beds and a Dinette that could be broken down and made into another bed. So it slept 4. I can’t figure out what is taking up all the room in this rig that you couldn’t have any permanent beds.
Great review of a very nice coach, a lot of features and surprising space in a smaller package, looks bigger on the inside than I expected, that slide makes a difference! While it's nice to have the space of a Class A, I'm a bit envious of the ease of maneuverability and drivability of this coach!
I've always considered a class C RV as having an over cab sleeping option. This unit doesn't and is no different than the class B+ I recently bought. The difference between a Class B and B+ when I was shopping was a B+ has separate shower and toilet where a B class doesn't. Am I wrong on this? If I am, what's the difference between a class C and B+? Thanks
Instead of the 3.5 V6 twin turbo engine, can you get it with the 5.0L V8 or a Diesel engine? And can you get it in any other color besides Gloomy Grey and Boring Black which became popular in 1990?
@@EndlessRVing That’s too bad. Ford doesn’t have a very good track record with the Turbos in gasoline powered vehicles. A naturally aspirated engine will always last longer than a turbo. The 302 (5.0L) V8 has been a great engine for Ford since the 60s. And the Diesel engine can go a million miles.
SO close... but sadly a miss. That outer "drawer" should be a pullout kitchen!. Outdoor cooking is NOW and you (RV manufacturers) are late!. Ekko hits it well... aim that way and we'll talk.
I don't like the fact that there's no actual bed. I think I've seen other Phoenix RVs with a drop down bed. The kitchen is nice. That's a hefty price with no sales price. And the CCC seems low, probably because of all the real wood.
So the only bed is that small sleeper sofa? And the CCC is 1100lbs? Is that including or excluding water and propane? VERY LOW if one considers two large adults may be 450+ lbs, a dog 40 lbs, grill + propane 60 lbs, outside chairs, mat and table 80lbs, water 300 lbs, propane 60 lbs, 2 bikes 60lbs, food 50 lbs, clothes 50 lbs, bedding 30 lbs. Does this AWD rv have self-leveling, or would that be an after market purchase ? Thanks.. 👍
I’m new to the RV life, so I was expecting a demonstration of the sleeping features which wasn’t addressed. Additionally, the abundance of wood cabinetry reminded me of much older designs. Lastly, the 200K MSRP explains why there are so many DIY van conversions.
Sleep is overrated. 😊
Sofa-bed conversion which for some loves em and some hates it.
Just DONT buy a THOR.
I’ve heard Nothing but HORRIBLE things about their RVs and their service.
American do not know how to design a good layout or floor plan in an event go look how the European do it and for far less money.

The bed is a deal killer it seems like a after thought.
Who doesn't love a rear corner kitchen.... It's always going to come back to the price. But she is a beauty for sure.

I have a Grech - Tereno Ion. I love it and the customer service cannot be beat. Expensive. This looks to target Leisure Travel vans
We owned a Phoenix Cruiser for a bit. Great quality!
Really, all RV are junk, just wate
What kind of gas mileage and how do you drive?
I love it. Maybe I can afford it once it’s a few years old.
Yep. I like the awning. TV is in the correct place. Gotta have a comfortable bed. 180k hurts. 10years 18k a year. Something to think about. 😊
What a cool little RV! Surprisingly it has plenty of storage…👍🏻
It really is
The rear kitchen and bathroom are awesome
Amazing the BEST ONE IVE SEEN YET the price is steep but it’s beautiful

That would be the only Class B I would definitely consider. Great layout ❤
I love the kitchen and bathroom setup, it would be nice to see a hideaway bed come down over the couch area.
Why not a 12V fridge? Lithium? Solar?
It’s Perfect size. Thanks for sharing.

The rear kitchen is great, I’m not a huge fan of the sofa bed but it would work for shorter trips, IMO! Loving the Release product too
Release is the real deal. :)

Great floorpan and well done video. At $180k there are a lot more options that you have, but I'm sure you'll sell a lot of them.
just beautiful
Would be wonderful with a Murphy Bed 🎉
Very nice I'm liking it!
I love that corner kitchen! Haven’t seen anything like it in a class C!
Love it!
What's up with the best kept secret? The bed. LaMesa RV is keeping it(bed) a secret also. I thought it'll be a Murphy bed.
