How do I get my boys and I into hunting? It seems so daunting, where to go, what to hunt, what do I do when I get something, how do I field dress it, etc. etc.

Can a small aluminum 14 foot v bottom boat with a 20 hp prop engine be ok on the big manistee river? I have a prop guard to protect the prop and lower unit and plan to move slowly through the water. I'm curious how passable it is. Thanks in advance.
