The two of you are so precious sitting there watching the video looking like two pups waiting for their owner to come home with sad puppy faces. Aaawww!
I saw the last one where the cop tied the tie for the guy. He was in his way to a job interview when he got pulled over. He wanted to look nice but didn’t know how to tie it.
I'm a Postal carrier in the US. The UPS carrier that delivered in my area on my old route and I used to help each other out with packages all the time when we were at the same stops.
Color blind ppl usually have gradations of color values, not just black and white, some even have hints of muted colors. They memorize over their lifetime what gradients tend to be what colors. When they put the glasses on, it truly is a different world for them. They didn't know what they were missing until they see through those lenses. It's a powerful experience.
Fun Fact: People with a certain type of colorblindness (Red-Green) were used during WWII because they could more easily see things that were camouflaged. Upon my on research just now as I typed this... it appears to be true that people (typically men) with R/G colorblindness have a much greater ability to see things that would otherwise be "camouflaged".
@@Boodieman72 I hear there are different ones for the colors you don't see, RG, BY, but I'm sure there are some types that they haven't found a solution. Maybe one day.
I was fortunate to grow up with a blind grandfather. He was a piano tuner by trade and owned a music store. He was also a published author and poet. When I was very young we had a talk about colors because I was painting a poster for school. He said that he could remember colors but not very well as he was only 5 or 6 when he lost his sight. So I said I would teach him colors if he would teach me blind. So every time I was there I would bring him a color. Red was vibrant and hot like chili peppers that my dad loved. So he would taste it and remember. Then he would put a blindfold on me and have me count the steps to the sofa and not bump into anything on my way. Green was mint. 21 steps to the upstairs landing. Yellow was hot buttered corn on the cob. 11 steps from the door to the porch swing. And so it went till we moved away. To this day I can move through my house without any light at all and know where everything is.
My father was blind, and he went blind about the same age as your grandfather. He was a sports nut and was almost constantly listening to sports on the radio. Baseball was his favorite, and he knew the game well, as well as appreciated great sports commentators.
I'm a fifty year old man in Texas and one day I was laying down reading when I hear "I'll be right back, I have to go to the ATM." A couple of minutes later a young lady gave me $100. It made me cry. I would share food that I buy with others like me and I hadn't eaten all day. I bought dinner for me and two of my friends. Thank God there are still kind people in the world.
During 2020 in Spain there was a taxi driver who made sure people made to their appointments and such so a local hospital honored the driver when they heard about it.
From what I understand, the last one was the student getting pulled over for speeding, but the cop learned he was rushing to class and needed help with his tie.
If I remember the original video, the surfers were actually friends of the man in the wheelchair. They wanted to let him experience the water so made a board that would hold and secure his chair.
My dad is blind he has no eyeballs from a chemical accident. When we watch movies together I got used to telling him everything that was going on during the quiet parts. My wife says I talk a lot during movies now I think it's from that.
UPS and FedEx are competitor companies, but there is no reason to compete when the package has already been sent. At that point, it's competing for how many people can you make happy.
EnChroma glasses are a real thing for colorblindness. There are hundreds of videos on youtube with people seeing color for the first time. The reason we know what they are seeing is real is because people are generally either green/red colorblind or blue/yellow. So they see other colors almost normally but red/green is muted (looks like brown tones) because they don't have adequate cones in the eye for red/green colors. So colors that have green or red in them are also muted, i.e., orange which is red and yellow looks new and purple which is red and blue look new with these glasses. These glasses amplify the red/green waves so they don't see red/green as a muted brown any longer, but more as their true nature. You can go down a rabbit hole watching videos of people putting on EnChroma glasses for the first time. These are life changing glasses and most everyone cries like a kid. The glasses are costly.
The two package carriers were from different major companies-- UPS (United Parcel Service) and Fed Ex (Federal Express). They are competing, private companies, as opposed to USPS (United States Postal Service), which is a federal government agency.
They are all competing agencies but I don't think there is any real animosity between any of their employees. I work for the USPS and I wave to the FedEx, UPS and Amazon drivers all the time. Everybody's got to make a living.
Even though there is a lot going wrong in the world. Let us remember there is also a lot of good. Most of us are good and only want the best for us and everyone else. Don’t let the news and events get you down. I truly believe there is more good than bad. Let’s all remember and strive for that!
UPS and FedEx are competing companies but that doesn't make their employees competitors. They are just people and most people are helpful to one another.
When they heard their babies heart beating and the mom who child has the baby heart😘😘🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏i can feel a parents love for every baby and the connection and blessing is amazing god bless all of them 🥺🥺🥺🥺my heart you You🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰🥰
Teared up a little myself, there is an awesome TV show based out of Utah called Random Acts , the hosts do nice things for people. It's on the BYU channel
Thanks for sharing this, it really got me at the parts with the daughter and the son that shaved their heads when they were shaving their mom's head cause of Chemo. I did the same for mine, everywhere I look there is memories of my mom. God Bless you both. Thanks
im colorblind, i see colors though, i can tell red from green, but not when the two are next to eachother, though, things on chargers, red needs charging, green is fully charged, those lights look yellow to me.purple.. just looks blue, all shades of blue ar the same to me. now those glasses, yes theres a difference right away, but, use them all the time for a few weeks... wow.. i even pass a colorblind test at the eye drs with them on.. takje them off and im lost again, i have several pairs, one goes over my regular glasses,i keep those for when i need a new prescription. but i always have a pair of prescription on me.
Sad and horrible things happening to babies and animals ruins me. It’s their innocence. The baby passing and the mom hearing the babies heart in another child is gut wrenching! For real. Profoundly sad
The baby died. Its heart saved another life. The whole point of that clip was to illustrate how a tragedy could be salvaged and turned into something good.
Think they just chose random color as an example. A person who has never seen any color wouldn't know what anything should be colored as, only what people would say it is. Obviously they would know some colors and what is and isn't the color, but for most it's been told to them all their life.
You all suck lol, this video tugged at every heartstring! The level of kindness in this video is legendary. These people prove that good humans are still out there. thank you for reacting to this video and getting it out there for the world to see!
Many people are very good and charitable if you give them the opportunity (and don't indoctrinate them and their children to hate everyone that disagrees with them). Peace, Love!!
I was very surprised with the guard one, maybe they'd just finished their duties for a while (going on break), and he quickly popped back out, so maybe naughty but not as bad?
You two don’t even know that you see given colors the same as the other. Think about that for something trippy. (I remember V-sauce did a great video about that)
These colorblind glasses don't always work. There are various diseases associated with color blindness. I would also like to point out that people have brains and can use memory. Remember what color an object/thing is. You don't have to see something, you just need to know what color it is. All you have to do is learn that the grass is green even though you can't see the color green.
Most are great but the ones where people do "kindness" but then film it to post on social media is not entirely selfless. But hey, at least they're doing it I guess. lol
Since you asked…people with color blindness see colors, they are just distorted, in various ways. They know trees are green because they have heard it all their life, so when they see the real green, they can identify it.
Well, it really doesn't matter if the colorblind man sees pink instead of red or even if he knows what green is. The only thing that matters is that the world is not just shades of grey any longer for him.
Hey, can I ask about Shakespeare? We read Shakespeare in high school. This was brought up with a French girl not understanding Old or Middle English at Mid-Evil Times over here. Forks are French, so Henry VIII ate with his hands, and spoons were for soup or watery foods. The Baird Poet is rich and and dripping with our shared language that teaches so much. Shakespeare translated is not helpful to anyone trying to understand English. It is still a beautiful story and well written play, but it isn’t English.

Wow, the mother listening to her baby's heart beat inside another child... I'm a grown man and I have tears in my eyes!
That did it for me. lol Imagine your dead child living on in another person.
Yeah that was touching.
I love the one where the kids sign happy birthday. My grandmother was a deaf mute.
This is EXACTLY what the entire world needs more of ... so beautiful. Cried the entire video!
Awesome :) "Never let you left hand know what your right hand is doing."

I tried them as a colorblind person and they didn't work for me.
also they send them colored balloons so they can have a reference of each primary color red green blue and yellow
Right. Like a muted, greyish red to them is still red and they can distinguish the differences with other colors in comparison.

From what I understand, the last one was the student getting pulled over for speeding, but the cop learned he was rushing to class and needed help with his tie.
A lot of that video was very heart warming. Thank you.
I always cry so hard for these😢😢😢😢

I'm a stoic guy, I don't show emotions but this had me tearing up
The world needs this to be the norm.
My dad is blind he has no eyeballs from a chemical accident. When we watch movies together I got used to telling him everything that was going on during the quiet parts. My wife says I talk a lot during movies now I think it's from that.

FEDUP
@@shelleytorok1406 Heard it, but it's still good!
Colorblind people see color! It's just not as vivid and defined as normal sight. My brother got a pair of these, and it was AWESOME!!
My son got a pair of these too, it made such a difference in what he saw. This was an awesome experience!

FedEx and UPS are competitors. The reps for each company working together goes beyond the bounds of the job description

All that is required is to make a choice to be one.
