We are adding an inground pool with a built-in Spa in our backyard should be done by the end of August. I was told the added value to your home is double the cost of the pool in this area.
Oh cool! We really don't have a feel for those sort of numbers just yet, but we are learning! Enjoy that pool!

Hmm. Wonder how many banks I'd have to rob before I'd have 1.4mil? Is that what he meant by he'd get the money next Tuesday? 😁 In the early 1990s when my wife and I were considering buying a 2nd home down there to use as a vacation rental modern stilt homes were about 250 thousand. Boy did we blow it!
That's how it always goes with things...you look back years later and say "I wish I had", these home prices seem nuts right now, but 20 years from now we might think today's prices were a deal!

Looking to buy a house on a canal or a vacant lot with building permit. Had a fixer dialed in yesterday but it went in to contract this morning. Bummer. I will keep looking. Thanks for the uploads!

I know the house sold, but not sure the status of the canal...I need to get an update on that....

@@GablesOnTheGo Taxes are usually right around 1% of purchase price, so because this was a total rebuild, current ones don't really reflect what they will be. Hope that helps!

saltwater pool??
Not sure John, many of the pools here are saltwater pools but can't tell you on that one. I think that home is still for sale and I'd be glad to get specific info for you on it...shoot me an email and I'll get the answers for you! Thanks!
