    I see a sense of community and a lot of love in this neighborhood. I thought it was great the way the people worked together. Nothing about this place looked notorious. God bless them.

    It’s lack of proper planning why slums spring up in our Cities. Our government can do better. Thanks for sharing my friend..

    I would say that what we are seeing is not good and the people living there need to have the place seen to. Imagine during rainy season what the place will look like. Government needs to look at the roads

    Welcome to cool city brother, there's different between Abakpa and those of Abuja, the difference is Abakpa is permanent location but poor infrastructure like bad road, but that of Abuja is temporary settlement for those that cannot afford to rent and apartment inside estates or inside town.All those area in Abuja are in master plan of Abuja, all those areas are people plot just waiting for road to enter there b4 the development will start. For instance look at gusape you always praise, few years ago was a slump like many other location, but when road start entering there people start to develop and build their plot

    • @DavidNkwa
      @DavidNkwa  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good explanation. But most of the slums in Abuja are also occupied by indigene so how are you going to move them out

    Whoever told you Abakpa and Obiagu in Enugu are slums does not know the meaning of what a slum means. These places are low-income areas for low-income earners. East of Nigeria (Biafra ) can never have the sort of slums you see in other part of the Zoo called Nigeria. The worst slum in Igboland is Okpoko in Onitsha Anambra Stae, but before the end of Soludo's reign it will be transformed into a city

    • @KelvinChiedozie
      @KelvinChiedozie 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are right. The worst slum I have ever being in Igbo land is Okpoko.
      I wonder why people call Abakpa and Obiagu a slum area. Obiagu is even where I lived when I was still an undergraduate in ESUT.
