A 3/8 mile track is probably a perfect size track to level the competion.I noticed you refered to it as a bullring, id call it a intermediate track. As far as predicting a winner thats a tough one.Im going to pick Marks, but i can see Courtney, Day, Sweet or even Rico being fast here.

2024 Kubota High Limit Racing at Portsmouth Raceway Park
Sorry, I don't make videos, so I must ask you to read:
I had never watched a race at Portsmouth before, mostly because of excessive rainouts, so I was psyched as always watching the HLR 7/13/24 stream on Flo. First impression was that this looks like a really cool track...or at least it could be. But that initial assessment steadily changed rather quickly as the event went on. It was 92° on the planet surface, and they were kicking up dusty rooster-tails even in hot laps. I kept looking for a water truck during down-time, which, sadly, never appeared. Track conditions rapidly deteriorated, and were atrocious at best, even before the Feature. This can sometimes be a result of ineffectual track prep, but not in this case, as track prep was instead non-existent. There's obviously no water shortage there with the large Ohio River in spitting distance; so why, on such a hot day, would you not dump some on the track? After the first melee in the A, Bayston and McFaddeen climbed out looking like dustbowl refugees, and making polite but jaded comments like "couldn't see a thing", and "zero visibility." It takes TOTAL committment (All-In) to effectively host a national touring series. The contingency awards were of course very generous. I've watched racing for many years, live and on Flo, and can't say I've ever seen the like. But it also takes a constant, competent effort at track prep for 410 wingers (with the aero factor) on the larger tracks to prevent treacherous conditions, and a mostly one-groove parade, such as we saw here tonight. Don't know if track officials are at fault, or whether it's HLR's focus on keeping things moving along. Or both. Overall, despite the inadvertent dramatics, it just wasn't one of their better shows. Just my (always) anti-PC two centz.
PS: At least no certain crew members were seen assaulting certain other drivers, which is maybe an international "thing" now in Ohio ;-p

@@TheRaudmanRundown Yeah, but perhaps I was a bit harsh. Although, incidentally, I watched the replay of the 7/12 Southern Nationals LM race at Beckley WV after the HLR show. They had desert conditions there as well, but spent a bit of time prepping the track between three different classes. It was a capacity crowd, and no one seemed to mind, as track conditions were great and everyone could see. So...in the words of the late, great George Carlin, "Biff Barf, here, with the Biff Barf World of Sports, biffin' em up and barfin' em right back atcha. I call' em the way I see' em, and if I don't see' em, I make' em up."
