just installed one a week ago in my jk, awesome headunit, good sound quality and the ui is very clean and easy to use. However when using the metra double din bezel lots of modification is required to make it fit flush. Also should be noted that you will loose factory fade control when using the factory amp and all steering wheel controls will work except the phone button.
Just to add the reason I came to watch this video and the question's I had that I finally got answered. First make sure you wire the speaker's per the instructions correctly, if you have a built in amp from the factory or not. 2. I had to install the mic that came with the radio in my 2013 Jeep Wrangler unlimited with the alpine amp. I used a PAC unit and if it is wired as per the PAC instructions it should work great.
Hi guys... great video. I have 2 questions. 1. is the installation kit available separately? 2. do you need to use the included microphone or does the installation kit patch into the OEM mic for handsfree calls?
Troy, because we like to make sure our customers receive the correct dash mounting kit and wiring harness for each different radio we sell, we do not sell the install kits separately. We do offer the radios either with and without the install kits. When you purchase the radio with the install kit, you can be sure you'll get the correct dash mount and wiring kit to install that radio in to your specific Jeep. As for the microphone... Yes, you do need to use the microphone included from Sony. There is no way to tie into the OEM mic.
I don't know if any of you guys can help, I've installed the device today, but now that I connect my phone by USB, it is showing "USB not support", I bought the device just for Android Auto function and now with the USB not working, it's totally meaningless.
Hey rob I live in Australia and have just brought the AXV100 for my 07 JK I’d love to know where you got the brackets for the side of the head unit so that it has the professional finish
I have one query. there is one black usb adapter cable via which you can connect different cables for iOS or Android. But I have installed it and connecting via 2 wires doesnt fire up the android auto connection. It only does when the cable directly connects to the xav and other side to your phone. Let me know how I can use that as I carry 2 phones one android other iphone.
does anyone know the exact brand of the wiring harness he uses here? The one I found is the PAC RP4-CH11 Wiring Interface and it looks just like the one he uses here but there are a few different models

Hey, thanks for the video! I just bought the XAV-AV 200 for my 2013 JK, tried to get it installed at Best buy but the guys said it can't fit in the Jeep. I don't think they are correct but just wanted to know your expert opinion since I see you installed the 100 with ease. Thanks!
@@craigharris9465 I went to 2 places and neither was able to install properly, they had to cut the dash bezel to make it fit (did not look good). bought a new dash piece and looking into the AV100 now as it looks like a clean fit
Hey can anyone please help me!I have a 2017 jku. I just installed the AX100 and the Radio Pro 4. Everything is working well, except when I want to call someone I don't hear the other person on the car speakers. The same problem is with Siri. I can talk to Siri and it's listening, but I don't hear the answer on the speakers. BT Audio is working well. Does anyone have an idea?
Did you find an answer I am having the same problem the sound is in your front speakers but only my factory tweeters seem to be acting as my front speakers

Nice video.
Its the sound quality better comparing to the original jeep wrangler sport 2015? (Not touch screen)
Can be installed in a Chevrolet Malibu 2005?
Will it be compatible with iPhone XR and UConnect?
If you have a 130N w/ UConnect, does the PAC retain the UConnect functionality?
I bought this including the install kit but never received the dash mount kit
